Hey readers!
Here is my review (with spoilers!) of Happiness Falls by Angie Kim
Some major themes were:
• family drama
• sibling relationships
• parent-child relationships
• missing person mystery story
• non-verbal main character
• alternative means of communication
• living with/understanding people with disabilities
• pursuit of happiness/managing expectations
and there's so much more!
Overall, I felt like the content of this book was different and a necessary read for today's society! Just because someone is non-verbal does not mean that they cannot understand you or they don't have important ideas to share! I do think the book went on a bit longer than it needed to but overall,⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!
