@@skipfire2012 Unfortunately singing in a high register every show will put strain on his voice, I think he sounded incredible live and his low voice really worked with all of the songs. He needs to change his singing style and we as fans need to be supportive as ultimately it sounds way better than a thin, forced falsetto with very little drive.
@@Isxxc. Yes, i agree, I don’t think it’s all about his advancing age.. That said, his voice register was absurd and certainly damaged over the years.. i think he have a kind of serious issue to vocal chords..
@@skipfire2012 There is certainly damage to his vocal cords due to him singing with awful technique over some 30 years. Most rock singers face the same issue, although if you want to hear really bad singing listen to some recent Bon Jovi shows, at least Axl still has a large part of his voice left and can still go high when he needs to. JBJ has lost it all, very sad.

Awesome that he’s found a way to keep performing and giving it his all after all his voice has endured. Love the ferocity in this version! Really smart use of Melissa’s and Duff’s backing vocals to layer in that additional depth too.
He honestly sounds way better without the Herbert the Pervert falsetto. I think he's reached the age where it's simply not sustainable to sing that way anymore, so if this is the backup option, I'm totally fine with that. Even though it's kinda sad for his distinctive rasp to be gone, I would argue it's been disappearing since 2016 (and really, since the 90s, even though there's been periods where he regained a lot of strength eg 2010) and this sounds heaps better just from an overall singing / performance standpoint.
I would agree, particularly live this sounded even better, his falsetto has been faltering for a while and I've never understood why he hasn't embraced his lower register until this show, its miles better. He can sing with power and rasp still, just not high, which I'm fine with as it's a more sustainable singing technique and it doesn't sound as forced and thin. I hope he changes his vocal delivery from now on, this show has been a milestone in showing that he's still got what it takes, just in a slightly different way!! 🎸🤘🎸

O show já estava bom, quando ele mudou a forma de cantar, ficou bem melhor. Já devia estar cantando assim a muito tempo. E só pelo fato de não abusar muito, até conseguiu fazer um drive decente de novo. Na moral, já estava animado para o show de BH, agora a ansiedade aumentou absurdamente!

I wouldn't typically defend him so much however I saw this live and people have got totally the wrong impression of his voice, I was blown away by this performance on Saturday!! 🤘🎸🤘
I like that he said it to everyone as well. That he was going to do a key change. I thought he did really well and I'd go see them again in a heart beat.

I've been saying this a lot. But he should, no, MUST sing like this every song. Axl has an amazing clean voice, he just should stop trying to force his vocals cords. Because you know, he sings like the old man from Family Guy
Axl didn't really tour for decades. It's expectable he wasn't going to keep his crazy range for that long especially with such a hiatus. I think he sounds way better with this low tone - hopefully he'll understand.

great to see Axl adjust to the lower register, it sounds refreshing and if that means he can go out and perform consistently, even better!
