NYMR - LH&JC No. 29 lit by Grosmont MPD fitter Adrian Dennis for locos steam test

    LH&JC No. 29 was lit with a warming fire by Grosmont MPD fitter in preparation for the locos steam test and safety valve setting the following day.
    As the loco has not been in steam for a couple of weeks it gradually needs to warm up over the course of a day to reduce stresses on the boiler.

      Thanks for the comment. We hope to do more vides and will attempt to make them longer if people like them. It's a bit of learning curve at the moment to see what people like to watch and how long they watch the videos for.
      We have loads of ideas for filming for the numerous jobs that go on in and around the shed.

      It's in the description of the video. The loco is being lit in preparation for performing a steam test to check the locomotive is in working order and can be brought up to pressure.
