hi, will you also do some of your settings on CoD BO6 for nacon revolut 5pro? And we've already dealt with it here in the past, I tried your settings 45_70 and 74_1.00 and I figured out that I shouldn't change 45-74 but 70-1.00 I have to go lower. I play with the snipe and shoot through the quick scope and small shifts of the analog. in CoD bo6 I have a sensitivity of 8-11 and a zoom of 1.35 because I also need to flick. I also have gradual, linear 0.31. and I'm happy with this but it's still not exclusive to me. Don't have a solution to focus on?
So with your profile active, how can it interact with the in game response curve? For example if you have your profile active while using dynamic/ linear/ exponential, how will it affect your aim & performance?
Does Point 1 represents the small , initial input? What about the white line inbetween both points? And does input 2 represent the end of the stick input?
Hey bro, great video. I'm one of those who suffer from the sticks being too sensitive so I'm going to have to try your alternate suggestion. I just haven't found the time to mess around with these settings so I just resorted to making changes on how my thumbs aim lol
Hey yes if you find them too sensitive, you can reduce the 1st point output a bit, also I’d say try without the shaft insert as well, so keep it small and reduce the 1st point, which should be at 33 and output.33, so keep the position at 33(top tab) and reduce output to .23 and see how that feels. This’ll make it so that initial 33% movement give 23% output.
@@thephototechy I'd very much prefer is Nacon themselves released a setting that duplicates the sensitivity of a standard Dualsense controller. Making changes in game is much more convenient than unplugging the controller and making changes on PC

Hey bro, so I've been testing the new brook FGC2 adapter and used this controller alot the other day. For some reason BO6 seems to not perform that well with the ones in this video. I actually ended using just a standard linear output, with small shaft insert and keeping my max deadzones in game to 80. So in a way still using a higher output per register, but through in game settings rather than Nacon revolution software settings. I did keep the shooter pro mode on so no minimum deadzones applied
@thephototechy hey thanks for the reply that's awsome. So like not in advanced mode. Or the factory fps option in the app?. What sensitivity were you on on cod.
So I ran into the dead zone and thought it was an inherent property of the Hall modules and didn't want to re-train my fingers to adapt for the deadzone. Even after removing the deadzone of 2 and enabling Sensitivity+ (was it?) it still felt sluggish. So I said 'f*k that sh*t' returned it and got the Edge controller instead.
Fair enough, sometimes it's bloody difficult to get adjusted to something different, especially when you're hardwired a certain way. I thankfully play shooters on KBM only, so I never got used to the DS4.
Out of all these controllers you reviewed what is your favorite one you used? I really like this g7se but since the updates recently Its felt a little off I noticed the app bugs out for me sometimes like not saving settings or me having to reset to defaults then my aim would feel right again. I also had to recalibrate a few times cause it felt off not sure why but when I press the triggers in while looking at my resting values it changes them. I noticed that my resting values change every time I calibrate it as well sometimes its not as bad of a drift and other times its bad cause I do play on zero deadzone in apex. I wish I never calibrated it in the first place cause it was amazing day one. I had another one before this though and it had scratches on it and a squeaky back button so I sent it back but that one asked me to calibrate it when I first got it during a update. But the second one I got never had to calibrate it even after firmware updates and all that I have no idea why so that is pretty much why I calibrated this one manually. Anyways sorry for the rant I still like this controller and hope you still enjoy yours!
When calibrating the G7 SE, be cautious as manual calibration can alter the center point. Depending on the spring's condition, adjust the center point to minimize drift. Personal preferences vary, but for me, controllers with a zero dead zone option, like the G7 SE and E-Swap X, are ideal. These controllers provide true zero dead zone when needed, unlike others with fixed dead zones. Turtlebeach Stealth could become my ultimate choice if they allow a 0 deadzone option but unfortunately that’s not the case🤦🏽♂️
@@thephototechy Ah yes, I was actually looking at the E-swap recently and was considering buying it. I'll check that Turtlebeach stealth review out maybe one day it will have that zero deadzone ability. As for the g7se I will try to slow down when calibrating it I think I rush through it maybe. I always heard the manual calibration was better to do but the app one seems to work fine as well. Not sure why the paper manual says do the triggers first then joysticks and the app is reversed maybe it doesn't matter the order. Like they were more responsive at the ends. I made a more responsive curve myself and instantly felt like it was better. And what do you know I set my crossover point right at 60% lol (I'm not using the shaft insert). I have point 1 at 1 and .06 as a small anti deadzone (even with fps pro, there is a tiny deadzone in Gran Turismo 7), and then point 2 at 60 and .70 and it feels correct again. Since 45 is 60% of 75, that math lines up. You've got good content here. Thank you as well for showcasing what the sensitivity+ button does.
Hello friend and the right joistick... right? ..What is your setup? Yes, .....but what values please, thank you very much for responding friend... Sorry so many questions
Absolutely, the right stick aim response is crucial for precision in gaming. Starting with the medium shaft insert and linear output is a solid foundation. However, if you're still feeling some sluggishness, tweaking the settings can make all the difference. Personally, I've found that setting the 1st point at 45 with a 0.70 output, and the 2nd point at 74 for medium shaft, with an output of 1.0, can really enhance responsiveness. Give these settings a shot; hopefully, they'll elevate your gameplay experience just as they have for me!
Hey mate, quick question. When I use trigger stops in PUBG aiming and shooting is fine but the game won't recognise input when trying to drive. To drive I have to put the triggers back to normal. In the software I put them to half and immediate but still the same. Any work around? Thanks
Hey bro I had a similar issue after opening the controller to check the sticks. Try using the Delayed Pro setting instead still at half, It seems like the right trigger isn't reaching 100% when you use the immediate setting. I understand my issue coz I opened the thing so messed with the trigger alignment which in turn messed with the calibration, you shouldn’t be having this issue. If that’s what’s happening I’d say speak to Nacon about it as well.
So the latency is the same for wired and wireless But this zones count make it actually benefitial to use wired? Am I right? Or there is no reason to use wired?
I love this controller, and I'm so glad I bought it over the DS Edge to use for my PS4, as unlike Sony's proprietary pro controller, the Nacon controller works seamlessly with my PS4, and has a ton of cool customisations. I'll still be using the Flydigi Vader 4 Pro for PC, since it's got superior specs and is highly regarded by a lot of players.
It's not used by a lot, for the main reason of not being remapable through steam-input and rewasd, other than a generic controller. So you cannot use gyro and/or remap back buttons and more, this is unfortunately the case for 99% of third-party controllers.
Hello! I find thag i like using the think shafts, since i havs a hard time woth analog travel distance so they help reduce that distance if i wanted to use the pro aim with a thick shaft what should i use?
Hey I keep the max deadzone in game small on left stick, also I’m using a precision ring on the left stick coz it’s something I was doing with stealth ultra for a day, now I’m used to it 🤦🏽♂️😂. I personally don’t want to use the shaft insert on left as I’m paranoid if something happens to one I use on the right so I have a spare. Also bro be careful with the stick caps I’ve already destroyed a couple of mine, as they constantly pop out for me whilst playing.
Hey I’ve been using the 8bit ultimate for it’s review, which should be out tomorrow. Last time I played with the G7se was about a week ago and mine has been working fine, even with that recent update to nexus which didn’t have a firmware update for controller. What bugs have you experienced? Is it the stick staying stick out when centred?
Hey for aiming algorithm to be like the PlayStation 128 zones, the only one capable is G7 with Xbox stick tops. The G7 is using alps like the dualsense and with Xbox stick tops installed and calibrated will bring the zones very close to dualsense. I was thinking of making a video on this as well.
This seems to feel like the sensitivity is very high this way. The recoil is definitely easier to control but the left to right and over sensitivity is very fast
Hey then you can try a bit opposite approach and reduce the output number at point 1 a bit. Also use in game deadzones of your preferences, fps pro is true 0 deadzones.
Hey I just leave the left as linear coz I use in game max deadzones to make the active area smaller. You could use the same for left stick as well and it’ll be more responsive then standard.
Hey, which controller would you prefer: the Nacon, BFG, or Edge? I can get them all for around 180€, so price doesn't matter. I really don't know which one to choose. playing COD On PS5
If you absolutely want no stick drift whatsoever, then the Nacon is a no brainer, it's the main reason I got and it's fully compatible with PS4, PS5 and PC, which most PS5 pro controllers don't have. However, if stick drift doesn't bother you that much, then I'd probably check what types of games you play, as if you want the adaptive triggers and haptics, then the DS Edge is the best for that expensive. Otherwise, the Vitrix Pro BFG is noticeably cheaper and offers a lot of physical customisations, such as D-Pad and analogue stick placement.
Hey I did it on the PC going to check it on xbox later to see whats changed. For pc looked exactly the same to me unless I missed something, but there is no new firmware for the contoller in this version which gives me hope that 1000 should still be ok on xbox.
Hey im thinking of buying this controller because im tired of buying new ps5 controllers because of the stick drift. I use tactical layout which means i slide cancel and go prone by clicking the right stick so they tend to wear out very fast as dualsense is super sensitive compared to ps4 controller. How long have you been using this controller? are there solutions of you get a stick drift to fix it? or do you need to pay another 200$ and get a new one? i would love your opinion as this is the best video i found so far on all youtube! I was thinking about edge but it only has 2 back buttons and i would rather avoid it
First of all I want to thank you for this great video and all your energy you put in there. Very appreciate it! What kind of aim response curve you recommend in CoD MW3 with your kind of settings? Dynamic? Linear? Greetz from Germany 👋🏻
@Cyanxddd It could work for Xbox, but unfortunately, it's not supported on PS, regardless of what dongle you buy. Only a titan kit, which costs insane amount of money, can allow any 3rd party controller to work seamlessly with the PS4/PS5, but only in wired mode.
@@williesmith1955 I’m replacing my ds edge for the nacon pro, it’ll be delivered tomorrow. Are you liking the nacon better than the ds edge? I ask because i think the ds edge is shitty because i had to send it in for warranty claim twice now & that’s why i bought another pro controller.
@shemarlong4179 the back button on my Edge broke from normal use almost immediately . Sent it away for repairs. Since its come back Ive stayed with the Nacon. I prefer it now just feels 100x more solid
@ i sincerely appreciate the prompt responses bro, but what setting within the app do you change for the left stick? As the video only mentions the right stick. Also i solely got this controller for fps (cod).
Ah bro this is one intricate controller, I opened it enough to check which modules they were using, trigger assembly with hall sensor is very sensitive and I've actually knocked one out of calibration slightly. I'm sure with serious skill someone will be able to do it but I havent seen anything done like that so far.
Because the trigger assembly on the rev 3 is wicked what I have observed Ithaca that controller if you use alc settings in apex and drop the dead zone ine game the stick will not drift as soon as you connect a playstation controller to the same setting you gonna see some drift although both controllers don't have any drift whatsoever so from looking at your videos on the rev 5 about zeroing help me to understand what was really happening you should look into it
The PS5 ones fit after some effort. Also you can try and gently extend the plastic feet of the kontrolfreeks to accommodate the larger diameter, just don’t do harshly as it could snap.
So if i use these settings and i play wireless mode it wont be same as wired? What if i prefer playing wireless? And btw your settings are the best i have seen so far … have u changed anything?
Exceptional as always, btw i recently bought DSEdge but i want to let you know there is a bunch of integrated deadzone, if you want to share some ideas im willing and a pleasure for me to help in this run for the ultimate controller 😊
Hey definitely bro! I do feel that there is some resistance at centre and the output for every zone is large at .78% so it does well to hide that deadzone. Still very slight movement of my stick can make the numbers jitter on my unit. Nacon on the other hand for sure have a huge 8-9% deadzone unless we enable fps pro mode
@@thephototechy I can’t believe they didn’t have fps pro mode on release 😂 the whole point of hall effect and no stick drift is that you can use low deadzones, otherwise whats the point!
Hi thanks for the this i am using what you said and its good. In mw3 what sen are you on and is your dead zone 0 for both. Thanks again for the great work you do.
Hey you are most welcome bro! With this controller I’m using 10-10 and 1.5 ads with the dynamic response curve. Now these are what’s suitable to me with my screen setup. I do use a 2 deadzone option in game so it takes some of the drift away and leave a little bit. Left stick I’m keeping with linear output and use smaller max deadzones in game, personally I haven’t used an insert in the left, as I’m paranoid if something happens to one so I have a spare for my right one 😂, but you can even use a large insert on the left to get a quick response out of that stick.
Hi again, sometimes in mw3 when spriting/running my left after a little bit wont move fast and just walks, its not stamina. Gets me killed alot. Any idea what that could be. Thanks again
@@GreedPvP very difficult for it to behave like the dualsense. The algorithm used are very different and there seems to be a bit more latency on third party controllers when compared to dualsense on ps5

Hey bro left stick I’ve kept as normal linear, as I use in game max deadzone settings to get a quick response. If you like you can even use the large shaft insert on the left stick to get a quicker response, if the game doesn’t allow for such settings.

It shouldn't get drift at all, as it uses hall effect joysticks. Maybe you accidentally switched it to classic mode? He did mention in this video that on classic mode, there is built in deadzone, which is why he switched it to advanced mode. If not, I'd definitely get a replacement and if that has the same issue then a refund is necessary.
great video. Finally someone showed how it works. I am new to this driver and need some advice please. I play 90 percent with sniping in COD, I'm an aggressive sniper on quick scope. And it happens to me with this setting that the shift of the right analog is very sensitive (fast), can you please advise me what I should reduce? I'm from the Czech Republic, I can speak English, but not so that I can understand it clearly. Thank you very much
Hey if you find the initial movement to be a bit uncontrollable then try the opposite. So reduce the output at value 1 instead of increasing it. Also just try the linear with medium shaft and fps pro mode, I do find it to be pretty good with dynamic and linear in game curves. Also use your own preferred deadzones in the game settings as fps pro mode will completely disable them
@@jiridolezal891 hey yes keep the position to where it is and change the output tab to lower than what it’s set when in linear, this’ll give a slower response initially, so will help if you find it uncontrollable

Hey man so I haven’t used it on a pc as currently only on consoles. But out of curiosity I did a test with a python script on my laptop, where the screen shows the button register. Seeing the results of the Nacon compared to edge on my laptop running the monitor at 120fps, they are very close but edge definitely is slightly better, but nothing like the PS5. The results I got with Nacon were 6,7,8,8,9,9,9,10 and the same script running with edge I got 6,6,7,7,8,8,9,10. Personally I’m not but you can if you wanted to, I just reduce the max deadzone n game to get a quicker response on the left stick
Also, how can kontrol freeks affect the use of the nacon?
I just copy your settings.. can wait to get home a try it, what about left stick does it stays in small or medium shaft ?
Hey I keep the max deadzone in game small on left stick, also I’m using a precision ring on the left stick coz it’s something I was doing with stealth ultra for a day, now I’m used to it 🤦🏽♂️😂. I personally don’t want to use the shaft insert on left as I’m paranoid if something happens to one I use on the right so I have a spare. Also bro be careful with the stick caps I’ve already destroyed a couple of mine, as they constantly pop out for me whilst playing.
any updates on the game sir g7 se? 1000hz is still buggy
Which Xbox Controller is Like the dualsense Edge and PlayStation sticks ?
Hey for aiming algorithm to be like the PlayStation 128 zones, the only one capable is G7 with Xbox stick tops. The G7 is using alps like the dualsense and with Xbox stick tops installed and calibrated will bring the zones very close to dualsense. I was thinking of making a video on this as well.
@@thephototechy Thank you. I Hope so much that Xbox will announce a 1000hz Controller soon …
@@thephototechy8:56
This seems to feel like the sensitivity is very high this way. The recoil is definitely easier to control but the left to right and over sensitivity is very fast
Hey then you can try a bit opposite approach and reduce the output number at point 1 a bit. Also use in game deadzones of your preferences, fps pro is true 0 deadzones.
@@thephototechydo u still keep the stick output the same at 37 or do u decrease both output value and the stick value
Is there a wa to find the same configure as the classic dual sense for the aim config?
Is it the same setup for the left stick? Thank you so much
Hey I just leave the left as linear coz I use in game max deadzones to make the active area smaller. You could use the same for left stick as well and it’ll be more responsive then standard.
Can these settings be used on PS4 mapping?
Gamesir nexus got another update, do you know what changed
I was thinking about edge but it only has 2 back buttons and i would rather avoid it
But if you activate the FPS PRO mode it presents DRIFT in the 2 joystics and only the pointer moves... I don't understand friend :(
I agree
Controller is weird mapping is working on test but not
working in game in PC
First of all I want to thank you for this great video and all your energy you put in there. Very appreciate it!
What kind of aim response curve you recommend in CoD MW3 with your kind of settings? Dynamic? Linear?
Greetz from Germany 👋🏻
Hey bro you are most welcome! Personally I dynamic, but I feel Hall effect sticks performing better with linear response curve in game.
Hey man! amazing video! truly a life saver!! Do you have any settings to play wirelessly ? thanks
Hey man, review Flydigi apex 4 please.
This pls
I know bro it’s on my list for sure, someone mentioned I can use it on console and I need to check how that’s possible.
@@thephototechywith a dongle lol and maybe Bluetooth
@Cyanxddd It could work for Xbox, but unfortunately, it's not supported on PS, regardless of what dongle you buy.
Only a titan kit, which costs insane amount of money, can allow any 3rd party controller to work seamlessly with the PS4/PS5, but only in wired mode.
Thanks man, I will try this. Because I moved from a PS Edge to the Nacon and the Nacon has been feeling really weird. Hopefully this will fix it!
Hey did this hello brother? My controller will be delivered tomorrow.
@shemarlong4179 this helped A LOT
I'm gonna pic up one of this controller is it possible to put mouse click triggers on this
Ah bro this is one intricate controller, I opened it enough to check which modules they were using, trigger assembly with hall sensor is very sensitive and I've actually knocked one out of calibration slightly. I'm sure with serious skill someone will be able to do it but I havent seen anything done like that so far.
Because the trigger assembly on the rev 3 is wicked what I have observed Ithaca that controller if you use alc settings in apex and drop the dead zone ine game the stick will not drift as soon as you connect a playstation controller to the same setting you gonna see some drift although both controllers don't have any drift whatsoever so from looking at your videos on the rev 5 about zeroing help me to understand what was really happening you should look into it
Is there anyway to fix this without a pc ?
Hey bro, unfortunately not but hopefully the promised app will be out soon.
Can you test aim settings for the NACON for apex legends please
How did you get a kontrolfreek on?
The PS5 ones fit after some effort. Also you can try and gently extend the plastic feet of the kontrolfreeks to accommodate the larger diameter, just don’t do harshly as it could snap.
So if i use these settings and i play wireless mode it wont be same as wired? What if i prefer playing wireless? And btw your settings are the best i have seen so far … have u changed anything?
How to bind touchpad on pc tutorial pls bro
Thanks for that you use 120 fov or lower.
@@Truegrit79 hey so I’m at times playing on a smaller monitor so use 105 and when playing on a 27” monitor than 117-120 depending on map.
Hi again, sometimes in mw3 when spriting/running my left after a little bit wont move fast and just walks, its not stamina. Gets me killed alot. Any idea what that could be. Thanks again
thx so much❤
You are most welcome bro!
what values do I gotta insert so it acts like the dual sense controller??
@@GreedPvP very difficult for it to behave like the dualsense. The algorithm used are very different and there seems to be a bit more latency on third party controllers when compared to dualsense on ps5
i just got my controller and i tried your settings and they are awesome. I just have a question bro, why, when i conect my wired headphones, to my nacon controller i can not hear anything ?? please i neeed your help thx alot.....
Are you using that external mic attachment?
Has anyone the same problem with the left thumbstick in valorant ?
Do i need to adjust these settings on both right and left sticks?
Hey bro left stick I’ve kept as normal linear, as I use in game max deadzone settings to get a quick response. If you like you can even use the large shaft insert on the left stick to get a quicker response, if the game doesn’t allow for such settings.
@@thephototechy thank you very much for this video, I have had mine for months but never really got a hold of the settings
@@thephototechy how to select my already customised profile when playing on ps5 any tip?
@@mraproko so there are 4 profiles on board and they have the led next to trackpad showing which one you are in. You can even change the colour of the ring light around right stick to know which one you are using. To toggle through them you press the profile button at the back.
Are these still the same settings with shooter pro mode instead of fps mode?
I have the same question
Hello i got this controller last week and on the third day it got drift, is their any way to fix the drift its doing a 10 deadzone drift
@@StardustLegacyFighter i was using advanced, i just refunded and got another controller, for it to be hall effect and drift that fast is ridiculous
@davidc7508 That sucks.
It definitely shouldn't be getting any stick drift at all.
What controller did you replace it with?
@@StardustLegacyFighter i got the dualsense edge, i really wanted the nacon to be durable as i was tired of dealing with the dualsense drift
great video.
Also use your own preferred deadzones in the game settings as fps pro mode will completely disable them
Ah, so in Point 1 analog where 45 is, should I go lower to 41, for example?
@@jiridolezal891 hey yes keep the position to where it is and change the output tab to lower than what it’s set when in linear, this’ll give a slower response initially, so will help if you find it uncontrollable
Hi, with this nacon settings, what aim response curve type do you use in the game? standard, linear or dynamic?
Hey personally dynamic and I leave the slope scale untouched.
I like the controller so far I got one myself, but I really am not a fan of the Microsoft style joystick layout
What are your sense and controller settings bro? Also Are you playing on Ps5 or PC?
He's playing on PS5.
Where is the android app
I’m waiting for the same bro, crazy it’s not out still 🤦🏽♂️
@@thephototechy tried to register product and its not working. How do you make a great controller while being inept at basic website interface? Crazy lol.
The shooter pro modus got stick drift
Love the videos bud can you confirm how Nacon is on PC looking to get the controller but mainly for PC gaming
All these were button presses as well so not the stick push, I hope you’ve seen my screen recording tests before, those are frames it took to show the register at 240fps recording.
Do you need a pc for this controller ?
Pretty much, if you wanna make the Hall effect joysticks feel on point you need to customize them in the PC app
I would love a review of PS5 HYPR and AIM PS5 controller using the Hall effect sticks 🙌🏻
Edge is 💯 King and the Nacon and Razer is overpriced 🚮
I know bro I want to try those as well, but the build time scares me a bit. I might do the Aim one actually intead of HYPR, as I've seen some realy bad comments about the HYPR ones.

hi, do these settings work on PC?
@@karpovichgaming6425 hey the settings will save on the controller so will work on pc, but I have a feeling the response of the controller must be quicker on pc, so definitely play around with the numbers a bit and see what suits you best.
