Watch business inventories at 10 this morning - normally a low impact news item, but following retail sales coming in cold, inventories may be more impactful than usual. Empire State Manufacturing Index also came in cold - are orders low because inventories are high, indicating the consummer is weakening ? "How does the market react to the news" - your are correct, this is the most important thing for traders to look at.
The new highs are in place and now the move down begins

I sold. I'll keep an eye on it. Tend to sell stuff like this when down pre market in pre market so I don't get killed at open. Also try to avoid wash sales so get in and out.

Maybe he isn’t but the market is. It is moving up strongly on hot PPI and cold CPI . So inflation doesn’t matter to the market. Nor do rate cuts.
