Anyone wondering how a 17-year-old could be a nurse already? The answer is he actually had TWO mistresses. One was the 17-year-old, and the other was a young nurse in a neighboring town. It was the nurse he was engaged to, not the teenager.
“Dear Dad, First let me say I’m the best father and husband that ever lived. I’m also very smart and cool. Did I mention that I’m handsome? Well I am. Probably the most handsome man in the world. I almost have a 6 pack and even cured myself of diabetes. I’ll pause for you to appreciate how cool that is. I’ve never told a lie by the way. Because of this there is no possible way someone as awesome as me would kill my family. In fact they all died cause I just was too great… Did I mention how cool I am?”
This is literally word for word of what he said !!! Thank you for taking the time out your day to write it all out. I hoped there would be captions in the comments. 😊❤️
I got another question who stays around dead families. He should either abandon his family or kill himself due to his greed. He tries to sound so smart it doesn't take a genius not to steal sick bastard
I'm assuming that psychos don't think the way that most empathetic people do, so they slip up when trying to act like they are heartbroken over the lives they took.
An update to this case: Anthony Todt has just been found guilty on 4 counts of 1st degree murder and 1 count of animal cruelty for killing the dog. Since prosecutors didn't seek the death penalty, he will receive a mandatory sentence of life without parole.
"I had to do everything. I helped her bath, move. She was very sick" Then proceeds to say she was capable of murdering the children, stab herself (stabbing is not the easiest way to go) and nearly force him to smother her. How.
I mean these kinds of men are the people who say they should be in charge of things but also cannot be held responsible for anything their p3n!$ “makes” them do. So logic isn’t such a strong suit
Holy shit, right?! This guys self-serving, narcissistic letter he wrote from jail to his pops... like, DAMN. He goes on about how good a father he was AFTER killing his wife and 3 kids. POS. Rot in jail. Edit. Also - lol - This guy spends however long talking about how amazing he is, then, "long story short", outlines in a sentence how his wife killed the kids... GTFOOH
He said that after she stabbed herself the 1st time and didn't die, she got up to do some things, then came back to the bed and stabbed herself again, but in the liver that time. The woman he supposedly had to "carry to bed" on previous days. Ridiculous.
Especially that fake comment his wife "said" while she was forcing his hand over the pillow on her face, "I finally found something you suck at". Like wtf!
Few minutes in: “Oh I guess this is some kind of old controversy they have never addressed” 9 minutes in: “Wait wait wait hold up, THIS WAS RECENT?! WHAT THE HELL?!”
I was thinking the exact same thing! Oh boy, time to find some obscure old tragedy that Disney covered up due to their proximity! Not even 5 years ago?? Sheesh.
@@redriot2115 if you haven’t, look into Rebecca Coriam. In 2011, she was an employee on a Disney cruise ship & she disappeared. They “did an investigation” and determined that a rogue wave just picked her up off the ship. Left no damage, nobody else felt it or heard it… just took Rebecca off the ship. Sure, Disney….
My sister lives 1/2 hour away from Celebration and never said a word. And she knows I’m a fan of the True Crime videos! Once when visiting my sister she drove me through Celebration so I could see just how unbelievable it was.
My mom interned as a chef at Disney and it almost killed her. You're not even allowed tasting only the head chefs are. No food or drink in the kitchen. Hours are incredibly long and breaks are short not giving her enough time to get all the way to the break room and eat. She lived off of hot tea. She was so thin when she came home I was scared to hug her.
I reread your comment and realized it was an INTERN??? Not even a part time job and your mom has to deal with pure torture. I hope your mom is happy and healthy after all that.
That's why they do it. They wouldn't get away with it if people refuse to do it. Interning is theft by big companies duping you that it's good for your career. That's why they're so rich

Wow, I'm just taken aback by how much this oompa loompa DESPISED his family. "SHE wanted to move even after I remodeled the precious house..." "HE was always competing with me and supported a different sports team than me..." This poor family could have never imagined how intensely he hated them all, right down to the dog!
Even if Disney owned Celebration, they own several major news stations, FOX, ABC, ESPN, and the list goes on. Look up businesses that Disney owns. They can suppress just about anything they want if needed.
If you're surprised by that then you should do more research. Most big corps, businesses and Organizations hide "whoopsies". From hotels hiding guest renting rooms to commit self delete to "good" neighborhoods hiding murders. This was a community, not just a Disney thing
That was my personal favourite cherry on top. You'd think that after killing your entire family and spending so much time with their decomposing bodies, advertising real estate would be the last thing on your mind, but I guess I was wrong.
It’s like he doesn’t even know how to pretend to act like a normal person. One wonders how he got this far in life without people catching on to how crazy he is.
@@IAmStillHere-ws4jcI can't believe his poor wife and family had to endure him for so long. His wife was a saint and he must have resented her for it throughout their marriage because, despite his Olympic-levels of mental gymnastics and self-delusion, somewhere very deep down, he knew he didn't deserve her and that he's a complete and total failure of a human being.
The fact that his dad hired troubled young people who he was supposed to help to try to kill his wife is truly despicable. The father was a monster who made another monster. How sad.
He hired a former learning disabled student who had been convicted of crimes before and had substance abuse problems. My guess is he was taking advantage of the person's limited mental capacity and aware he would more likely commit a crime since he already committed crimes before and have been incarcerated.
Reminds me of the movie To Die For with Nicole Kidman and Joaquin Phoenix. An aspiring tv personality seduces and befriends a group of troubled teens and then convinces them to kill her husband.
Imagine getting raided by the FBI and admitting to committing hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical fraud, but then telling them ‘we’ll have put this on pause for a month because I’m leaving the state for the holidays’ and them just saying, ‘yeah, ok-that sounds fine. Have a Merry Christmas and just call us when you get back.’
That letter was the most creepy work of fiction I’ve ever heard. Mickey Mouse necklaces, freeze-tag, wrestling, laughing, tickling, doing the “Electric Slide” dance for a soccer game, skydiving, Benadryl pudding pie and having “a most wonderful day”. What could possibly go wrong?
True story: My mom was SAd by a stranger at Disney World. The park begged her not to call police, and instead the company just banned the perpetrator (who happened to be there with his wife and family!) from all Disney properties for life. But the story has stuck with me for my entire life; if it hadn't been for my dad physically chasing the perpetrator down, literally tackling him and holding him until security arrived, there would've been no consequences...other than my poor mom's trauma. Lucky for her, my dad intervened almost immediately when she screamed, but it could've been so much worse. I've never assumed Disney parks are magically "safe" since hearing that story as a teenager. Sadly, tragedy happens everywhere. Keep your eyes open and be safe. Also, may the memories of the Todt family be a blessing to all who loved them. 💔
Oh my god that’s horrible! So sorry for your mom. Hope that creep got some jail time for it! The parks seem super packed. I’m sure SA happens all the time there
I worked there and they also do this to employees who are SA’d by other employees. I know of at least three men who assaulted and harassed women who were simply moved to other locations.
“Finally, something you suck at” OMG how nauseating… even while his wife is stabbing herself in her stomach, she just can’t help but complement him 🤔 .. dude murdered his family, blames it on the wife, while stroking his ego making him sound like some heroic knight… 🤮
This guy was so heroic and honorable that he could not break his pact with his wife to "not let her die alone" by going out and getting help. What a guy! Repeat puking face.
Right! I actually mention how much *more* feminine and beautiful my mother was when she got cancer and lost all her hair, and always remind my father how strong & handsome he is even though he’s succumbing to his terminal illness. The sick need double the reassurance, way more than people believe. Gross choice of words for sure.

Your Disney intro is SPOT ON and not to mention the murders on Disney cruises including the disappearance of a young Disney employee and the frustration/grief of her family because Disney registers the ships in places that thumb their noses at American authorities. That story would be great. Actually a complete expose of Disney would get great from murders, kids getting eaten by alligators, and young women falling off ships in the middle of the sea. Disney is about money. Nothing more, nothing less.

It hit me like a truck.
My only gripe is that your description of Celebration isn't accurate. I grew up there and my mom still lives there. What you describe - speakers in trees with birds, leaves dumped in the street, snow sent in from elsewhere - were early, wild concepts that were left on the cutting room floor for obvious reasons. The closest thing they do to any of that is at Christmas, spraying "snow" foam at timed and advertised intervals in the main square downtown at night. It's mostly for tourists and brings in decent revenue, as they stay for the outdoor music, shops, and restaurants. The thing that nobody talks about, and I'm shocked they don't, is that when Celebration was expanding in the early 2000s, empty houses that nobody lived in yet had their living rooms decorated with mannequins placed strategically on couches or at desks "looking" at lit computer screens. Those of us who lived there talked about it endlessly, but I've never seen this discussed. We found it extremely, extremely creepy.

Not only am I too weak to have a survival instinct or skills, but I am too self-important to attempt to get along with people poorer than me, even in the interest of self-preservation.

That letter made me want to gouge out my own eardrums. What a narcissistic dumpster fire of an excuse for writing. He certainly thinks he is a lot smarter than he actually is. He spends so much effort trying to make his wife seem weak and completely helpless only to try and say she had the strength to kill her kids and then stab herself. I would have immediately given the letter to the authorities myself. What contradictory drivel.

For a guy that can’t “remember “ his autobiographical letter of self justification is unbelievably nauseating. Just, wow! These family annihilators thrive on disparaging every one else, even calling his mother-in-law “the town drunk” and bringing up his father in law’s suicide but skating over his own dysfunctional childhood, namely his own father’s attempted murder of his mother that he witnessed but refers to as the incident in 1980. I’m sure that he’s still a legend in his own mind., believing his own altered reality. while patting his own back as such a wonderful father; an entirely gag worthy account.
The letter to his father is so gross. It’s so filled with “look at what I did. Look how much I did for my family. Poor my sick wife. But also look how much I did all the time! But don’t pity me. I did it out of love. I’m so good.” Gag me with a spoon. What a loser.
I have a cousin who works for Disney and lives in Celebration. This family lived in her neighborhood, she said the police presence and general horror of the killings notably affected the atmosphere of the town. Crazy how so many of these killers kill their entire family but can't muster the courage to take themselves out. Disgusting. He could've gone to jail to pay for what he had done. Instead he took his family that weren't even aware of his cowardice.

The letter that Anthony sent to his father cemented in my head the absolute lunacy of Disney addicts. That letter was pure fantasy and it was complete fiction. What a bizarre man he was. He is so creepy.
LOL. Weddings vows for men, as far as I am aware, have never traditionally included anything about "obey". Wow, that letter is nuts. As for the Disney reputation - Walt himself was no saint. He treated his employees horribly, then pitched a fit when they wanted to unionize, for one.
Men: create the institution of marriage (that they are traditionally the ones to initiate in the first place via proposing) which imposes patriarchal ideals ensuring that men remain the heads of the relationship. Also men: Muh, my freedom! @@username-mk4qv Bold of you to reject human nature like that. Humans naturally mate for life, as do many other animals, and marriage as a social institution is just the formalization of that instinct. It's not an invention by any identifiable group. Men proposing to women is again a formalization of animal instincts, as the nature of human reproduction demands that females, which are responsible for gestation, are more selective of their mates as a way to ensure the health and security of their offspring. Looking at concepts like dowries, polygamy, and arranged marriages, these are all later inventions of the nobility, and any widespread adoption of these practices was simply due to common people attempting to emulate the nobles.

I’m always *super* suspicious and creeped out by “perfect” families. This sounds like a story you’d make up with your friends to goof on that one family in town that’s conspicuously perfect. “Wouldn’t it be crazy if the dad got raided by the FBI, fled, massacred his family then lived with their corpses for a week?” Whenever a family seems over-the-top happy and spotless, I always assume there’s some major grimness hiding just below the surface.
Why would you just assume that? Some families *are* successful and (from your skewed perspective) "perfect". What, do you want them to have a shouting match when they're out in public? Most people don't want to make their pain and issues known; that doesn't mean that they're hiding bodies in their house or have been stealing millions from others.

Your scripts, content, narration and spot on snark is unmatched. Congrats on all of the sucess! Thank you for all of the time, money and dedication you have put into the content you share with us.
Yeah, it’s weird. I guess they must have figured that it was a financial crime and he was a low flight risk (which is dumb, because he had two residences, so there’s a high probability of him running to another state), so they didn’t think they needed to keep him in custody. I wonder of there were any signs he would do something like this at that time that were ignored?
You seem to be misguided on what the FBIs job is. Their job is to arm lonely stoners with the things the government wants banned. The crime stuff, that's just a side show.
This story is one of the most tragic ones I've seen. The father was a criminal for no good reason. The thought of Alex and his brother, both accomplished young men who would have had good lives ahead. My thought is that both parents had psychological problems given the isolation after they moved to Florida.
I don’t think it was both at all. He seemed to be a very controlling person willing to lie as much as he needed to to get what he wanted. Also very egotistical. He would do anything to keep up appearances. Something was definitely happening behind closed doors that he didn’t want anyone to see and he made sure his family kept up appearances too.
Yeah, I was extremely mentally ill and tried to commit suicide drinking myself to death many times and once trying to bleed myself out. Isolation and the sickness of the mind, especially when you have no one to care and are in an abusive relationship, that occurs while stuck inside yourself is gut wrenching and horrifying. That was the darkest time in my life. I will never let it get that bad again.
Dear lord I feel so sorry for the recipient of that letter. The thought of being just a quarter into it and knowing you've got that much more to go. I would of found the kid I see who mows other people's lawns over the summer for extra cash and offer him a Jackson to read me the rest
@@joshtwiddy I've been muttering to myself "how the fuck long is this? auto-biography?" So much over sharing and weird detail...he threw everything from his life to the wall to see what would stick. The fact that he blew up his poor wifes tragedies and then also accusing her of so many drugs but acting like he was the greatest most understanding husband...ugh. Gave me a headache
I love this format. Very in-depth and no video. makes me feel better that Im not missing out on something when I'm taking a shower or doing house chores.
Such a pig. To do that to your own family then smear your wife’s name by calling her the murderer of her children. If he was suicidal he would’ve done it. They lived in Florida, a possum can get a gun in Florida. His excuses about a waiting list (in other coverage) etc would be about 3 days. He sat there with them decomposing for a month. He feigns ignorance about guns but “the internet” is all I have to say about that. He didn’t just kill them to avoid having to disclose his failure, bruising his masculine pride, but maligned their memory. Anyone else think she might’ve discovered his fraud & thought about divorce? His self serving letter, designed to be leaked (he even insults the recipient at the end to prompt this), even had slights about Democrats in it, as he knows that’ll play well in Florida. Nauseating🤮. No amount of time is time enough in jail. I hope he thinks about them daily. This is why life in jail can be better than the death penalty. Lots of time to regret, lament your awful decisions then die in jail anyway. As for his claims of not being “jail material”, who does he think is “jail material” if it’s not him? I think he’s selling himself short, he’s perfect “jail material”.
I've watched this a few times and came back just to tell you that the few seconds you allow yourself to be exasperated while reading Tony's letter is so funny and cathartic. I laugh about it regularly.

Everyone’s opinion should be respected so my opinion is it worry because you don’t want to be like everybody else I love that this channel is as real as a channel can be and there’s nothing better than somebody reading something because sometimes I get so lazy about reading and I’m so busy and I really really appreciate that you’ve actually sat there and read it all out for us to listen and it’s so engaging and it is a little bit of a mistake I’m poor so anything like that to me it’s even better because it’s almost like one of my cousins is reading it to me so I respect everybody’s opinion I just don’t think there’s anything you need to do just do you that’s good enough for me and it’s good enough for your fans but anyway thank you for making my days go by so much more easily
I actually don’t think it’s that big of a deal that that stuff wasn’t edited out. Leaving it in makes it feel more natural if its something that’s left in for all videos, it gives you a little more room to be loose if you want.
This may sound strange but Disney has always given me the creeps. It's kind of evil. I've had disagreements with a friend who used to work at Disney and who just thought it was the best thing ever. When I told her I've always thought Disney stuff was creepy, as a child and as an adult, she didn't want to be friends anymore. 🤷 By the way, I think your narrating and editing is just fine. 👍...and thank you for not inserting a bunch of ads in your videos.
I mean it does sound personal when you call something someone likes creepy, so I don't blame them for cutting you off....however it's wild to me that they worked there and had zero critiques as Disney severely underpay and overwork a huge portion of their workers.
Disney can be creepy and they’ve done a lot of problematic stuff but the information in this story about Celebration is literally just made up. There aren’t fake bird sounds. They don’t create fake snow over the residential area. There are no actors pretending to be neighbors. It really hurts the creator’s credibility when they insert fictional elements without disclosing that they’re fiction.
I was getting almost sick from listening to his letter, droning on and on over details and sounding like a guilty ass idiot. Thanks for sharing the whole story. Would have loved a further analysis by you on that, but I think we all know what to think with this one.
Wow. I’ve watched several videos of this case…Including the police footage & also both his hospital & police station interrogation tapes as well. And they NEVER specified that this had anything to do with Disney, nor that they lived in Celebration. You definitely taught me a lot of things I never would have know otherwise, and this is why I watch multiple creators videos on the same case, not everyone has the same facts or has as much information! Thank you!
Anyone wondering how a 17-year-old could be a nurse already? The answer is he actually had TWO mistresses. One was the 17-year-old, and the other was a young nurse in a neighboring town. It was the nurse he was engaged to, not the teenager.

I'm glad you kept the outburst during the letter. A genuine reaction that I could feel. This letter is absurd. The misogyny, degrading his wife, weird details that aren't important, to the ego, boasting, drama, and staging. I can't with this guy
I'm a woman, although my profile picture may not look like it. He might have been a misogynist. However, *killing your wife is called, "Uxoricide."* Killing your wife and children is called, *"Familicide."* Take care, hun and have a great day. 💜💗💜

My favorite part of the victims statement was the Aunt getting to tell everyone how FAT Anthony got. I loved that burn. And of course he had to say something about that and blame his wife for his obesity. He's nothing but pathetic narcissist.

@@mememe217 I wouldn't say the word is overly used. I think narcissism is overly common. And yes, this guy is 100% a narcissist, as most multiple murderers are.

Oh my god yes 😭😭

I'm sure hearing that your neighbor was capable of something like this would be shocking no matter what, but if you live in a town whose entire brand is being Disneyville I have to imagine your world would feel turned upside-down.
Crazy how so many of these killers kill their entire family but can't muster the courage to take themselves out. Disgusting. He could've gone to jail to pay for what he had done. Instead he took his family that weren't even aware of his cowardice.
He could have done a lot of things like admit to his family his crimes take responsibility and do the time his family would have lived hell they might have even forgiven him but in doing what he did he deserves to die .
Shows their delusional thinking, they're too chicken to follow through on their idealogy.
@@cdes1776YES!! THIS!!!!! That’s what I always ask myself, like typically they are the ones with issues and the innocent, unaware (sometimes) family are the ones that end up paying for their demons

@steviebeevie and what's funny is that Disney is also a place dads abandon their families frequently because of the "happy memories."
1:09:10 "I finally found something you suck at."
It's amazing how these types of people don't think these things are obviously their own self love coming through. He genuinely thinks he can do anything and everything better than anyone else.
It's alarming how many times that family murderers will become the "spokesperson" for the whole family. "We're going off the grid", "Everyone's sick" "We're going out of town if you need anyone, call me". Like how is this not a HUGE red flag to anyone? I'm sorry but it's very rare that one member of the family is the only one able to communicate unless something is terribly wrong.

Your comment intrigues me... Your dad seems like a character. I'm sorry that he's your dad but seems you're doing fine even with such a narcissist dad. Is he one of those absent hippie father types that country hops or is it something else??? Sorry I'm just thinking of my own dad

No melting snow over the residents. No fake neighbors. lol I wish the creator would just stick to the facts of the crime without inserting false information.
@@MsJeanneMarie I think the fake neighbors was in Reference to an area in the Disney park. And the snow was simply concept ideas that Walt had. At least that how I heard it
@@thesun564 huh, that’s interesting. It didn’t sound that way to me and it seems like other commenters believe it’s the truth.
@@MsJeanneMarie Made perfect sense to me. Actors portraying friendly neighbors on Main St in Disneyworld, speakers playing bird sounds and bringing in snow during the winter were Disney's ideas for his ideal town.
It went in order of topic. The creation of Main Street > Inspiration for perfect town > the founding of Celebration.
The people on the porch are in the park, not in the town.
What the- She said she was in "pain 10x worse than child birth"? Who in that much pain would say something like that? If I broke my leg, my first thought wouldn't be "this pain is 10x worse than stubbing my toe."

The letter that Anthony sent to his father cemented in my head the absolute lunacy of Disney addicts. That letter was pure fantasy and it was complete fiction. What a bizarre man he was. He is so creepy.
Your little editorial comment in the middle of reading the letter to his father cracked me up, LOL...
Steven from "Trace Evidence" does that too. His signature line is "Get the fuck outta here!"
Actually, I stand corrected. It's not Steven from Trace Evidence who does that, (he's still awesome) it's Jiles from "This is Monsters".
This family I created is ruining me and I hate my wife! 😭
Disclaimer: honestly I’m against all sexism so I’m genuinely sorry for this misandristic outburst but gosh damn do I hate hearing about men complaining about these things. Women do their own bs too but that’s for another discussion.

Capitalism is cool, like a Boa Constrictor, you don't allow yourself to become, too entangled.
It is power Hungry but its like that because of how capitalism works. Its about constant growth and the business that isnt growing stagnates. Even though a business could be a billion dollar business and have a healthy wealth of income consistently come in month after month, year after year. Once its considered stagnant, its a business on the decline. Look at tech companies look at restaurants. Every business in "the big leagues" will try to go for the same thing. Growth
It can be all those things at once because now it’s made of lots of different people with different goals of what to do with it. And it can change depending on the time and circumstances.
I’m always *super* suspicious and creeped out by “perfect” families. This sounds like a story you’d make up with your friends to goof on that one family in town that’s conspicuously perfect. “Wouldn’t it be crazy if the dad got raided by the FBI, fled, massacred his family then lived with their corpses for a week?” Whenever a family seems over-the-top happy and spotless, I always assume there’s some major grimness hiding just below the surface.
it's not the children's, dog's or wife's fault! they didn't see it coming
Because there is. There's a huge price to keeping up appearances.
Why would you just assume that? Some families *are* successful and (from your skewed perspective) "perfect". What, do you want them to have a shouting match when they're out in public? Most people don't want to make their pain and issues known; that doesn't mean that they're hiding bodies in their house or have been stealing millions from others.

If the FBI would have done their job and arrested Tony, Crissy and the kids would have still been alive today.
He would do anything to keep up appearances. Something was definitely happening behind closed doors that he didn’t want anyone to see and he made sure his family kept up appearances too.
Except everything he said about his wife was a lie.
Yeah, I was extremely mentally ill and tried to commit suicide drinking myself to death many times and once trying to bleed myself out.

Disney can be creepy and they’ve done a lot of problematic stuff but the information in this story about Celebration is literally just made up. There aren’t fake bird sounds. They don’t create fake snow over the residential area. There are no actors pretending to be neighbors.
