I'm a little confused. I'd love to do something similar to this but with a different resin piece. I have always been told that you can't bake the acrylic resin cast? I mean you seem to have done it pretty well.. or did you remove the crystals and then bake the snake? Help!
@@eversonarts8261 Thank you so very much for the response! You're a talented artist and I can't wait to put the idea together that I've had! (It's a crystal candleholder! XD) Anyway, I'll post if it works if you'd like, since I've been using a different brand of resin. I've been using the Alumilite!
No problem! I used to use that brand but not anymore. Only east coast resin now. Good luck and tag me in it if you post on social media! I’d love to see!

Did you bake the resin piece with the clay snake?
Yes I did. If you are not comfortable doing so you can always bake the snake and put the crystals in last after fitting them.

I use east coast resin. I never have an issue with it in the oven. I have also heard you can’t put resin in the oven but I never have issues!

Do you bake for how many minutes and how many grades?
I bake my creations for 30 minutes minimum at 275 degrees!
Thanks
