    Hey Mr. Frekht, if you switch lawyers amd the former lawyer *DOESN'T* want to give up files etc... is that like another case within a case? And how long would it take to *receive* the documents on the plaintiff??

    I have a claim with primary and secondary insurance coverage. The primarys policy limit is only 50k and less than the total value of my settlement however, they want to settle and bow out as soon as possible as they are giving me policy limits. Although I do need this money, I don’t want to jeopardize the secondary insurance as they have a 1M dollar policy. I’m requesting a limited release clause with the release with the primary insurance. Is that enough to cover my you know what? What would you do?

    hi, my name is Watson. Is it a bad thing that a case takes 3 1/2 years to settle?

      Depends on the case. If the extra time is leading to increased value then no. If the lawyer is just dragging the case along like it’s in storage then hell yeah

    Can I ask what the process is for settlements that dip into the excess coverage?……like if the policy limit is 700k but the excess is 5 million and you settle for 1.5 how does the company that handles the excess approach this?…..do they have to approve ?

    • @AttorneyArkady

    What to do if the other driver lies about fault?

    • @AttorneyArkady
      @AttorneyArkady  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Just have to put in a strong case at trial and prove them wrong and show them as liars

    What’s the purpose of going to trial and the other party (18wheeler) was completely at fault and they had cameras on the 18 wheeler it’s just going to prove that they were wrong

      Fault is not the only issue. If the trucking insurance company is paying a fair settlement you don’t have to go to trial and most cases like
      95% don’t go to trial. But if they are low balling you then that’s how you get justice
