    Maybe you can do some sketches when approaching a Turtleback how the angles change relative to centerline to knock those chunks off I enjoy the sketches you do

    Turtle backs are this noob knappers biggest learning curve atm....that's if I dont snap the rock first😋😂😂 i now understand y the pros say you will go threw alot of rock before you get anywhere 🙃🙃

    Would you recommend a ball peen hammer like in this video for knapping hard quartzites?

      Sure. Ball peen hammers are my tool of choice when trying to get into tough rock. It's not going to be easy for final finishing but it will allow you to spall and create a rough biface quickly.
