- Tonight's talk was interrupted by a cat coming inside, which reminded Ajahn Brahm about a mysterious story of how a cat found its way to Dhammaloka Buddhist centre. Ajahn Brahm also shares stories about how powerful the mind is.

Thank you for another wonderful talk. I and my younger brother have been listening to you for years. I have often retold your stories like the man who tastes the honey, the time you left the hammer outside and the one about the floating plant at the college, and many more I love enjoy and retell. i gave my dog a shower,she's licking her front paws,poor darling. i feel guilty,she seems not to like being washed.
I got drunk with liquor today and insulted a friend, he wrote :" don't write to me," I cried.

Stop drinking its poison to the mind body and soul.
That's why they call alchol spirits.
It brings unwanted and unattended behavior.
Forgive yourself and make up your mind not to drink alcohol anymore and will never insult others. It is obvious that the immediate consequence of insulting a friend causes unhappiness for both ends. May you be happy
