I find that if you use flowers that have not been properly dried, the remaining moisture in the petal causes mold when you encapsulate it, that's been my experience over the years. The dried one are real ones.

If you encapsulate fresh flowers and not dried ones, they will turn brown after a while.
That’s never happened to me with any of my clients. It’s just like putting a fresh flower in resin as long as there is no air at all and everything is properly coated and sealed the flowers will stay the same as the day you put them in.

They came out beautiful! 🌹 Love the addition of the gold foil. It's the perfect accent. I'm curious though about how they looked several days later? I've seen people use fresh flower petals in nails a few times and the fresh pieces always turn brown or black. They end up looking rotten. Hope this didn't happen here! Hope you're staying safe in your travels! ❤❤❤
Yes this happened to me, I actually dried my flowers but only for a day and they went from light blue to brown and translucent!! You could barely even see them 😰
You are right, I've been a nail tech for a long time, the flowers must be dried before using them.

I'm surprised how well these turned out! With resin art, adding fresh flowers causes them to discolor and turn brown. I suppose resin and gel polish isn't the same, but they can be quite similar haha

I encapsulated rose pieces and the gel separated from the bottom layers due to the rose pieces. I used soft gel at the time because they were short nails but I doubt I’d try that design again.

Question: when doing my own nails using E file, I have a hard time blending at my cuticle no matter what technique ( full cover tip, acrygel, non stick builder, hard gel). In your videos, you seem to be able to take the cuticle edge down quickly. Any tips/ideas as to what I might not be doing right? Usualky us 15,000 reps on Efile going in 1 direction. It is the one thing I hate dealing with.
How did the ecapsulated petals go, did they stay red and clear? I would like to know after about a week? X
It's been 6 days now, two pieces turned white 😳 all the rest of them is still red
Was there a little too much leak underneath the nail?

What brand of gel did you use? I did not see any bubbles 🫧. Every time I use building gel or hard gel, I see bubbles 🫧 😞. I don’t know if it’s the brand or the technique I use. Your work it’s so gorgeous and perfect 😍. I hope I have a response from you @Anastasia ❤❤❤
