Sumo GLS Gassland Subsoiler Working

The Sumo GLS Improves and revitalises compacted grassland that is suffering from the effects of continual heavy machinery, livestock and rainfall.
The Sumo Grassland Subsoiler uses a fine-tuned combination of a 500mm straight serrated leading disc which cuts the grass sward and initiates the rip line for the ensuing leg. The disc is followed by legs, spaced at 580mm centres for both 4-leg and 5-leg machines, and 833mm for the 3-leg machine for optimal lift, shatter and aerating in a grassland environment. At the back of a machine a flat packer leaves an aerated, consolidated and level finish.
The aim is to provide a sub-surface shattering effect that creates fissures for roots to extend into, allows excess water to drain away, allows in more oxygen and enables the worm population to thrive. The best conditions to subsoil grass are when the ground is reasonably dry and the soil can be shattered properly rather than just creating grooves through the soil.
