Genuine question: do i really need to explain why they change sometimes? or is it self-explanatory lol
EDIT: i saw someone commenting that some viewers might be young and might not know better, 🖤so here are some reasons why the nail polish changes sometimes:
- i rarely film my intros the same day as i am drawing (sometimes i do, mostly not though! (thank god i am an artist and not a model, so most days i am in chill joggingpants-messy bun-look- and most days i don't dress up or do my make-up so i only film intros when i do content for my personal TikTok so i save time)
- i like to draw in a compfy position, wearing messy bun, no makeup, chill pose hanging like a spaghetti over the painting (although i should work on working in a healthy pose for good back health! :P i also often draw on the couch or bed and not always on the desk)
- I recycle my intros because i draw daily, but i don't film intros daily. finding good lighting for selfies etc. takes SOOO long and filming intros is less fun than drawing.
- Most drawings are not done in one day. Reasons are that they can take anywhere between 6-50 hours. i know it sounds long for some poeple but realistic drawing do take me veeryyy long.
- i also like to work on multiple projects at the same time. so i might start them in January but it happens that i only continue working on it in March.
- sometimes my nail polish chips, so i redo it

First, how sweet is her voice? ❤ I've never considered her nail polish to be an indicator of her not being the artist, but I have actually thought maybe she wasn't the artist because we never see her doing the drawings... Just extreme close-ups of the paper and a hand. I'm not saying she isn't the artist, but that's a better argument than the nail polish. I don't doubt she is this incredible artist, but I would still love to see her doing the art zoomed all the way out to get a feel for how she does her projects, and the expressions on her face as she's in her element.
What do those people expect, An artist would just sit there for years and get up once they are finally finished? It takes time,patience and effort to create a masterpiece.

Floating a theory that an online personality may not be who they claim isn't a "hate comment". Its just an assumption they made based on the information they were given. It doesn't make it right or wrong, and its not hate. If you think those are "hate comments" you're going to have some MAJOR problems out in the real world.

There could have been actual hate comments talking about her faking her art, and if that’s a possibility, then her reading them is just as likely. The fact that she could have read those comments and still addressed addressed the issue in a calmly manner is what the original comment was applauding her for.
And while yes, the comment shown in the video isn’t hateful, that isn’t all there is. And despite that, even if it isn’t a hate comment, it’s still insulting to have your talent be called fake, whether intentionally hateful or not, it’s insulting. But again, she addressed it in a calmly manner.

Anybody on social media now, real or not, is aware of the absurd level of fakers out there, and would not be insulted by the question. I used to draw a lot when I was little, and I stopped for a few years, but when I saw your videos you inspired me sm to where I draw every day now. Also, When i see more of your videos i get some ideas so what i am tryna say is you inspire me sm ✨️

Yeah... I don't even know what to say. She is obviously a real artist, because special people like that exist. They can't even admit it.
And it's funnier because none of them seem to notice she's recycling her intros which is already an indication that she spends most of it on drawings WHICH by itself is an indication that she have to constantly change her nail polish either because it chipped off, got dirtied or she wanted a new one to fit her mood before, in between and after her drawings.
Or they just don't know good arts take time and you can obviously see that from the constantly changing nail polish.

Creating a piece takes hours or even days to finish. Her art isn’t something that can be done in just one seating. She took a bunch of clips of the process and compile them all together into a short, entertaining, digestible video, movie magic. People thought art is as simple as the short videos she made, but they don’t realize how much going on behind the scenes…
Sometimes art can also take weeks/ months! It’s impressive how much patience artists have.

Definitely worth explaining that the reason for the polish changes is due to editing/filming things on different days and collating them together. It's clear your audience can be pretty young (it's tiktok after all) so they might not understand that they're simply picking up on continuity errors! Which in their defense can be pretty distracting, (but also entirely understandable in short form content)
