  • I’ve seen fish farms, and I’ve seen a river being stocked before.. i have never seen this many dropped at once.
This was at the Sand Harbor boat ramp July 7th.

Kokanee right? They don’t look like mackinaw and look more like Kokanee then rainbows from what I see here, definitely look like Kokanee at least from this video on my small phone screen, but whether their kokes or bows whatever they are the big Mack’s in Tahoe are gonna decimate them so fast lol all the big 8-35(+) lb mackinaw are gonna gobble em up like candy lol even though the Mack’s in Tahoe have unlimited shrimp to eat they still gobble up all the trout and Kokanee under 13 inches like crazy

I don’t know but Alonso says they are 1 cut throat for every 3 rainbows.

Sorry no idea. All trout look the same to me unless I see the rainbow on their skin.

They are! They're stocked 1:3 with rainbows to protect them from depredation, the idea is they'll stay all together and the macks and browns will eat more of the rainbows and more cutthroats will survive into adulthood.
