- Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said his government will release Indian Air Force pilot tomorrow as peace gesture. Khan made the announcement in his address to the joint session of Pakistani parliament.
Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is in Pakistan Army’s custody since Wednesday morning. He had landed on the other side of the Line of Control after his aircraft fell down during aerial dogfight between India and Pakistan.
During his address in the joint session of Pakistani parliament, Khan said“I tried to speak to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as I want to de-escalate prevailing tension between the two countries.”
I am from Pakistan. I love India and Indian people. We never want war. And media is totally a lie see how they are switching a positive gesture of Imran Khan in to international pressure or some thing. If this international pressure really exists we would have solved kashmir issue long ago. They want us to keep on fighting so have to understand that war is no solution. Lots of love to all indian. I'm Indian and the main problem is I've rarely seen Indians calling for plebiscite in Kashmir and understanding their situation. There's only one solution to Kashmir problem. Plebiscite, and divide the region as per the vote share. Or make it independent.
Hope more and more Indians think about this, and ultimately politicians have to listen to us.
Every territory that we integrated in India had a referendum conducted, be it Sikkim, Junagadh, or any other part of the country.
Every region in the world deserves right to self governance. We got that right in 1947. Why can't we do that for Kashmir region?

Internal political situation of Pakistan is more or less similar to Myanmar. In both the countries despite having democracy the government is commanded and controlled by the military. Similarly Mr. Imran Khan has been projected by the Pakistan military as the decision maker of the situation. I somehow feel his inner conflict who is a great lover India and her historical and geographical diversity. He is a good friend of Indian cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Navjot Singh Siddhu, etc. Hats off for his timely and brilliant decision. It shows his maturity as a political decision maker much higher than Aung Sang Chu Kyi.
