    I appreciate this video and all others that you have created. It all gives me some reassurance of all the tasks involved for being an 88M. I am in the process of re-classing to an 88M from a 92F. If you have any advice, I would really appreciate. Also, if you could make a video about 88M and why it is a great MOS the pros and cons to it, that would be awesome especially for new recruits joining the Army.

      Thanks for the compliment and the great video advice.
      The advice I'd give you is to make sure you get your CDLs as soon as you arrive at your unit after reclassification. You can use your fuel handlers cert combined with your waiver for CDL road test and get your hazmat endorsement. If your NG or Reserves, that is a great fallback for great paying work. On active duty, it is promotion points and amazing available positions for USAREC, USARA, and a good thing on your records to get an edge for Chauffeur positions. I have a lot, but one goal at a time for sure.

    Loving the videos, Sergeant! The alley docking vid helped me in AIT.

      Awesome! Now I gotta make some that can help you at the unit too🙂

    Thanks for this Sgt. Doing reserves it gets too easy to forget a lot of this type of stuff between months. Very helpful, even if we only have humvees. xD

      I'm glad it helps. HMMWV are great vehicles if you take good care of them. When there's not much going on, get under one with a mechanic and have em teach you all you can learn🙂

    the explanation is very perfect, is it possible to tell about the form DA 2404 please

    • @Whogives2shets
      @Whogives2shets  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, glad it was simplified. Go to my main channel and see the video named "how to fill out a DA5988," near the end I cover the DA2404. Hope that helps🙂

    good video. wondering why sometimes you have helmet and safety glasses on and some times you don't. thanks.

    • @Whogives2shets
      @Whogives2shets  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @King_TuTT if I was under the truck or climbing on it, I wore the protective equipment like we try to tell the JR Soldiers to do as a good example. I honestly don't always wear a helmet when I'm under the truck but never get under them without eye protection. You only get to be unlucky with your eyes twice till it's over if you know what I mean😉

    I have an M1093a1, and I found this video helpful. Can you make a video on troubleshooting a truck without electrical power in the cab?

    • @Whogives2shets
      @Whogives2shets  ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you clarify the question a lil bit by what you mean no electric power to the cab? Like if the electronics fail?

    Great video and channel. Can you do a video showing the procedures for properly hooking up a tow to one of these trucks.

      Absolutely! I have hasty and deliberate recovery planned and will reach out to you

      @@Whogives2shets Also, are you familiar with the M1022A1 dolly set? They come in pretty handy when you don't have a Chinook around and you need to move some conex containers.

      @@GraveKeeperDeath you know, I had to google it just to see what that nomenclature was and yes, I've seen one back at Ft Campbell many years ago and not since. I haven't used one myself though. Looks like it would be an amazing tool

    Is there a good website to find TMs? For some reason there's no physical copy for the vehicle I need it for

    • @Whogives2shets
      @Whogives2shets  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There sure is! All the vehicle pubs you evwr need can be found on:
      www.ldac.army.mil/
      You have to find so eone in maintenance, supply or S4 that can give you system access. Then go to the tab requesting it and put their name in. You will only be able to pull minimal TMs till you have access

    I've always wanted to serve, but life happens. Im 41 now. Is it too late to join Army guard or reserve as a 88M? I have a CDL A with hazmat, tanker, and triples doubles endorsements.

    • @Whogives2shets
      @Whogives2shets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      After checking the National Guard recruitment website, it says 38 with waiver. Even without service through the military, the service you provide our nation is far under appreciated. Thanks for making it happen, rain, or shine, 365!

    Completely unrelated to the video topic... I have that same solar power pack. Can't figure out why it won't charger my phone so I charge the pack the longer way

    • @Whogives2shets
      @Whogives2shets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you plug it in, press the power button. The green light will be on and the blue lights will illuminate showing the charge status. It takes 10 hours for mine to charge and I only get 3 charges out of it. I should've got the good one on Amazon 😅😂
