So yesterday, the 2nd Otherworld Colosseum for the English version of The Battle Cats dropped... and it is one of the most broken stage sets I've seen in a long time. Not broken in a bad way though, broken in a very funny and silly way that makes it really fun.
This colosseum's restriction, referred to as Cooldown Equality, makes the cooldown of ALL units to only 17 seconds. Key word: ALL! This means that assuming you have the money for it, you can spam any uber of your choice... EVERY 17 SECONDS. This causes almost every stage here to become an absolute cakewalk assuming you have good Ubers, but considering that most people wouldn't be touching this stage until late game, unless you are doing a "no gacha" save, then you'll probably have the units to do this stage. The only one that remains remotely challenging is the Round 2 due to it's metal enemies, but can still be made much easier with units such as Paladin.
So yeah, while there is no challenge in this colosseum at all, holy shit this is a lot of fun. I feel like I'm living out my 12 year old Battle Cats fantasy where I could just spam Ubers and just win any stage I wished. I'm sure there are people out there who are like "You can't just give a high enjoyment rating to a set of levels like this just because you can screw around with the game." To that, I say that I absolutely can, and I absolutely will. While there is no challenge in these stages at all, it was very fun to complete.
