Your point at the end is what I was thinking all along - this can happen without AI. You can find anyone who hasn't added their songs to contentID, download their stuff and add it to contentID before they do. No need to go to all the trouble to try to recreate it with AI.
so where do you draw the line on "AI generated'? Specially if a producer is using his own work to have AI sample it and the producer changes the audio in a DAW and mix/master it themselves? Or write the lyrics and have an AI Sing it? Or if a producer uses Ozone AI mastering, is that now technically an AI generated track since AI was inolved?
I don't get this tbh. You would have to get the AI to make music that sounds almost exactly like another artist's music which would be difficult, and if you do that you've broken the terms of service of the AI music generators because you're not allowed to upload music you don't own the rights for to use as a reference track. There is probably the same chance a human will accidentally make a song that sounds like another song as an AI making a similar sounding song. Nothing has really changed IMO.
Hey if you wanna see suno replicate something put "horrorcore rap, clown rap, Detroit rap" into the genre and ask yourself who THAT sounds like. If you can say with a straight face that AI model has never heard the copywritten music of Insane Clown Posse after that, you're delulu. I've seen a lot of examples, from Bladee to Taylor Swift, never have I seen one as egregious as when you ask it to replicate ICP You don't need to upload anything. It just has their music in its back end. You can auto-prompt it, with those tags, and get Violent Jay's unmistakable voice every time. They also, in no way, are generic. They have a completely unique sound. It's obviously heard it. There. Debate over.
There's more to the story, in the vid he explains that someone can ai generate a song like yours and then copyright claim your original music after the fact
Use Ai to filter out stuff that is to similar to start with on a per platform basis and by upload, using that logic his noise wouldn't have been uploaded to begin with, again or again by someone else any conflicts resolved with an Ai judge jury and chopping block😆 Myself I don't judge by looks but I really don't trust that beard there is just something overdone and annoying about it, life is just so full of similarities 🤔 Needs mustache wax that's what's missing

Cool so then no one EVER has to pay producers or Artist lol? So basically because some people steal, your solution is to make stealing legal so there is “no more theft”?
Venus theory’s video was too depressing for me to finish. Thanks for making it a little more digestible
Definitely overdramatic. He does make some valid points though.
Ya .. he is definitely the guy if ya don't hear from for a minute.. ya gotta give him a call to make sure he still breathing 😂

I like Venus but he is a malcontent and his videos come off like the world is ending.
Agreed. He’s too damn negative for me.

Not the same imo, with AI you can carry out this abuse at an industrial scale with ease in a fraction of the time to create something yourself.
@stevensmith1788 I'm not sure how you'd do it without getting AI to make something that basically sounds like you've sampled the original track.

some humans are ethical? links or it didn't happen.
Here is the thing .. just dont use A.I stuff .. boom problem solved
There's more to the story, in the vid he explains that someone can ai generate a song like yours and then copyright claim your original music after the fact
Specifically your music that you bring out after AND before
There should be no excuse for music makers and production experts using 3rd party stock music in their content.

Also the world is so very lucky that the best independent music news commentator is a drainer
would be hilarious if he loses his channel for breaking the rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha
just get rid of copyright all together... there's no way to police this shit efficiently
That would ruin careers bro

You first. Please, give your work away - copyright, labor, and materials away for free. I'll wait.
