For people who think his fame or ‘hay day’ was only in the 80s and early 90s - this Year In Review proves them wrong. Michael was Michael Jackson in EVERY decade of his life.
I wouldn't really say the 2000's was his fame or 'hay day' because he was dealing with child molestation accusations from 2003 to 2005 and maybe after that he was doing okay but he was not his best in the 2000's. His Invincible Allbum didn't even make the Top 10.
It was honestly over for him once the allegations came out in the early 90s. Before that point, he just had to contend with his physical issues from the constant dancing, along with his burns. After that, he had to contend with MUCH more. The vitriol was complex and completely unavoidable for MJ. Everyone seems to have this idea that a downfall is instantaneous. It rarely is.
@@MJJUBS his immune condition worsened due to stress, he really started to show it in 98-99 and his worst phase was probably during the trial in the early 2000s. I wouldn’t be surprised if he started struggling more with breathing, sleep, hair loss, etc. He certainly looked unhealthy during the trial (obviously).

After you finish the "Year In Review" series, it would be really cool to show a Review of everything that happened in 2009, gathering all possible information about "This Is It" and also an insight into MJ's life at that time, as per example the documentary "Dangerous 30", where you nailed all possible information. "This Is It" is Michael's most recent material, and the most modern, it could bring great insight to a younger audience and fans also discover things that are almost never told about the 2009 rehearsals.
Not a whole lot happened that year but nice way to end it by showing Michael and Whitney together! In my opinion, the two greatest talents of all time!

In the video where he accompanies Elizabeth Taylor, I see the look of the same Michael as in the 80s and 90s, but take for example the concert in honor of the 30th anniversary of his solo career, Michael is completely different there, and even his eyes is not the same as before.
Because unfortunately he was high as a kite at the 30th anniversary celebration. Very influenced by prescription at that time. But that was only a very short period of Michael's life, he did have problems then, but he was never a "junkie" who was using drugs to have fun or get intentionally high. He had to function under incredible pressure during some periods of time and couldn't cope without medication. Very understandable.

He never said MTV have him that Award, he said "if any one had said that he would one day be the artist of the millennium" which he was awarded that here. Any one who didn't see this would have got confused, but I had seen it live so I never understood the controversy later on

You are absolutely right it would have been just one year before would be perfect most of the songs were already recorded anyways and if you look closely in the Invincible album slipcover the photos are from 1999 not 2001 so I'm sure it could have happened I don't know why maybe Sony had something to do with it

@@dillonohlemiller401 Yeah, first with the lack of promotion of Michael's Invincible album in 2001 and 02, the child absue allegations happened again in 2003 that lasted until 2005, and then he pretty much stayed out of the limelight for the rest of the 00s. Then right when Michael about to prepare for his return to music, he died. It sucks. 😥

00s was not to great for mj aside invincible in 01 but after that was dark I don’t expect these videos to be more than 10 minutes , he was outta the media for most of the decade and i know this just by being a big fan born in 2000
