However, the trouble with cracking the gain is you'll probably get a lot of feedback. So unless you have a noise gate of some kind to balance it out. It can sound a bit messy. malaquias soatikee Yo! There isn't really a shortcut for such a thing. Just practice and repetition! Maybe slow the progression down to a speed you can comfortably play it (in time), and keep speeding it up 'til you reach the song speed. A good little exercise for getting used to a new chord is to fret the chord, give it a strum (make sure it's clear etc) and then take your hand away for a second or two. Then as quick as you can, fret the chord and strum it again. Do that 500 times on a chord and you'll have it in no time :P

or put a capo on 2nd fren then tune it to drop d remove the capo then its drop c
