I had a strat built once with a 12 inch radius and absolutely hated it at first. Then during lockdown I started playing it every day and it's since been my favourite strat. There's a good reason why Fender moved away from 7 1/4. I enjoyed looking at your long tool.
That's a really smart way to build a F-style neck.....totally different to my process....I've never built a one-piece Maple neck ... but when I do I'm going to be doing it just like that... very slick my friend !!! Cheers !

Just found your channel. Love it. Perfect amount of detail and humour in the videos! One tip for maybe increasing your viewership is to shorten the names of the videos and text in the thumbnails. Long titles are hard to read on a phone😅 "Gilmour's Black Strat Guitar Build pt.3" is in my opinion less cluttered:) Cheers!

I can’t pick a favourite outright because they all have great features, although saying that the paisley is up there! I’ve got an acoustasonic tele which I hardly play, I’ve got 2 baritone ukes which I love, they’re more guitar like than uke sounding as they’re tuned to DGBE, I’d love to come up with an idea of a custom made one someday ? hint hint lol! there’s a challenge for yer ! keep making these entertaining videos mate 👍👏🎸

I love David Gilmour’s playing, I’d sell my kid for his talent (not really, maybe my cat). Wonderful thing you’re doing. Now, I’m not complaining (yes I am) but Gilmour’s strat has a 7.25 radius. But fine, you’re building it, you do what you like. Great videos!!!!

7.25" radius for Gilmour's strat is it not ?... I prefer the smaller radius because it feels so much more comfortable... very hard to come by these days it seems,, I must be old fashioned 😅... love the jig btw.

I can tell you’re a professional. If that was me cutting that skunk stripe, the neck would have hit the back wall half way in.
I snapped a neck after sanding through to the truss rod once. Smashed it over the bench and the headstock broke my knuckle 😬 imagine the double rage 🤣
