That is not an independent Language.Because if u know Molana jalaluddin Balkhi i never heard that he say Dari is deferent then persian. also he was from AFG. so its all missunderstand and som illeterad peoples says.nothing else
+DJ Dijaana Mohamed the difference between Dari and Persian is smaller than Gulf Arabic and Maghreb Arabic but bigger than American English and British English. Dari is also much more ancient version of Persian because we don't have that many Arabic/Turkic/Western influence that you can find in Persia n language in Iran. Hope that helps you :)
