Norton's Hulk had the look of a Hulk who could take on Thanos. Ruffolo's, didn't. Mark's seemed toned down to more Kid Friendly imagery. Not only visually but in attitude and demeanor as well. The change from Norton's Hulk to Smart Hulk? Would have made a far greater impact than it did as shown. Norton's imagery as The Green Guy was far more beastial and violent than Ruffalo's. They should have stayed with it.
You forgot about director Joss Whedon's Hulk who was a really savage Hulk I thought. He pummeled Thor in the first avengers movie and just looked like a mindless brute that only wanted to destroy shit. I'd rather that Hulk over Norton's Hulk.

We really shouldve seen this rematch in Endgame. That was a rip off. Maybe we couldve seen bigger, nastier, dumber Hulk come back while burying Prof Hulk for this one huge fight
