This journal is sooo beautiful. I discovered your channel about a month ago and have watched all of your videos. I just love your style and how willing you are to let go of your cherished vintage ephemera. Keep creating your wonderful journals!
Thank you so much Sharon! Yes, it's hard parting with them but I know they complete the journal and that they are going to new homes where they would be cherished :)
Your video is not too long!!! You have shown and described everything very nicely!!!!! Your journal is VERY nice! I love all the authentic ephemera you have included!!!
Oh I love this.... the sari and lace collage is soo pretty... the coffee dyed paper.... colors... love the colored letters and stamp remnants... just beautiful... so much detail💙🖤💚xx
I love how you integrate true original vintage papers and ephemera. The receipt, ephemera and letter you didn't know what it is/was, are all in german language. That was a receipt first, then a piece of a post office document and then a letter from a russian letter girl friend.
Love your journal Sheena; its absolutely beautiful everything is especially the saree fabrics and blues (I love blue). You use authentic ephemera in such a marvellous way. Always stunning work and this journal is no exception! Crafty hugs Janine :)
Very pretty! Thank you for sharing. 😊 Also, the word I think you're looking for to describe the brooch that can't be opened is "slide" (which is an object that you slide onto ribbon or a belt). Keep up the great work! 👏👏👏😊
Hi Donna! Yes, haha the word is slide. I can flustered and can't think when I'm doing YT videos. Even after a year, the nervousness gets to me, especially with the timer because am trying to keep it short but they end up about 20 mins anyway, argh! XD
@@LunaRozu I know how it goes. I used to do craft videos on another channel and I used to do the same thing. 😊 You're doing a great job. Keep it up and have a great day!
The hook from the brooch could be a classic one where there is a small thing to turn around to unlock the pin. I also translated the cute letter: Dear Jeanetta, Lots, lots of thanks for your nice letter. I was very happy with it. How did you spend your winter vacation? I had fun and a good holiday. I went to the circus. Jeanetta, do you have lots of girlfriends? Tell me please about your friends and your cat. How is the weather in Magdeburg? The weather in Krasnograd is very good. Lots of sweet greetings, also for your parents, your Russian friend, Irene.
I love your journals! You have such lovely ideas! But you might don't want to include this orang paper in your journal. (4:29) It has some Nazi Symbols on it and says something about the Dritte Reich.
oh my goodness! Thank you for letting me know. Sometimes I get so caught up in decorating that I don't notice the words or symbols on the ephemera. Will def swap that out XD
This book is quite lovely, however I must tell you , the little orange paper viewed at 4:30 in your video is from Germany containing a Nazi emblem from WW2. This is a symbol of racist hatred and murder. I'm am sharing this with you because I am confident that you would not intentionally used such an awful thing in your beautiful creations.
@@LunaRozu No worries. It happens sometimes when using vintage items. I thank you for being open minded. Your work is quite lovely. Thank you again and I look forward to seeing more of your creations.

Where do you purchase your ephemera? The original French letter, etc...
Hi Paula! Most of my French ephemera I bought online via Etsy and Ebay 🤗
Absolutely love your creations and love how you explain everything in detail....please don’t make it any shorter!!😂

What's the problem with Nazi Symbols and Drite Reich? I'm confused as to what that even means.
