i started watching Prodigy because I'm a big Voyager and Kate Mulgrew fan but I'm really enjoying it. A great way to introduce kids to the Trek Universe.
I'm an adult trying to get into Star Trek and honestly thus show was a fantastic entry point, even if you don't know the timeline properly.
What a pleasant surprise this show turned out to be. I hope it influences a new generation to strive for knowledge and understanding instead of aggression and idiocy. STAR TREK: PRODIGY is the cure for would be stormtroopers.
I love Prodigy and I'm in my sixties. I adore Kate Mulgrew to pieces!
His voice is so smooth and relaxing.

I discovered star trek voyager for the first time about 3 years ago on Netflix . At first I didn't like the idea of a female captain . But as I was watching more episode the magic happened , and for me , she was the best choice for star trek voyager . apart from her acting skill in the TV series , I love her voice . I hope she'll come back like James Stewart ( Star trek picard) in another Star trek , not in 3D animation

This is just another in the long line of Alex Kurtzman trek that further dilutes the brand and tries to shoe horn any idea that isn't star trek into the star trek brand to fill the holes in Paramount's streaming service content. If they can't be bothered to make good real star trek, I can't be bothered to watch. Just fire Alex Kurtzman and Bad robot, and find someone who actually understands what made star trek good. This stuff we get now is just mediocre products shoe horned into this universe to wear the star trek name as a skin suit because Paramount considered it so badly written that they couldn't succeed without the name. If you called these series anything else literally no one would be tuning in.
I agree concerning the current live-action Trek series. But after a rough couple of episodes, Lower Decks has become a real joy. The writers truly know Trek. They are clearly real Trek fans. The amount of references to the earlier Trek series in each episode is sometimes overwhelming. Plus, it's actually set right after Nemesis. We actually get to see Riker as captain if the Titan and they didn't change the designs for no good reason like the live-action series.
have you watched prodigy tho? It does start out a little pixarish, but by ep ten, I'm in. The other series I haven't bothered with because I haven't liked any clips I've seen. But I like this.
To me, Lower Decks and Prodigy actually "feel" like real Star Trek, especially Prodigy. I am very pleasantly surprised at both shows.
Sorry dude, a lot of ppl disagree with you here including me. Prodigy is pretty good if you give it a chance, I grew up on TNG and Voyager has a place in my heart. My only gripe here is the cartoonish feel, but i let my imagination capture the story behind it. Wish it was a live action instead
Take a unprejudiced look at Prodigy! Season 2 is fantastic. It's ironic that a show officially targeted at children is far more better written than the Live-action-shows. Very Trek-like in the best sense 👍🙂.
