I have a niece with a three week old newborn she’s in St. Petersburg, Florida please please prayers for that baby and her mama. I am so worried about her. She cannot leave because she has no vehicle. Her car got flooded in the last hurricane now she stuck there.
I have family in the heat of the storm. Last time with a bad hurricane my son-in-law is an Army ranger. He has been involved in getting the electric on. They have to see how bad it becomes. Prayers to all those in the path.🙏
Current weather on October 9th, 2024 @ 12:10 pm ... Category Four, winds at 145 mph, storm surge 10-15 feet expected. Back in September 2002, I retired from the United States Air Force, moved to Tampa, Florida, lived n a second floor apartment complex, off of Highway 4 and I 75. Glad I no longer live there. What's nutty, CNN has found people who are staying in place and riding out the storm. These folks are in their 60's and 70's. Dang. Property is not worth ones life!
Keep up the fantastic work Josh! Your passion and compassion show in every post you make! It’s a great channel to watch! God bless!! From Minnesota….Brad
Years ago, while stationed at Eglin AFB, Fort Walton Beach, Florida in the Florida panhandle, I rode out a few Category One and Two hurricanes. I sat outside, wearing a heavy rain slicker and doing my best to stay in my chair. It was extremely exciting. I will admit that Category Three through Five is much different than Category One and Two. It's extremely too intense. Reflecting back to those times, the whole tops of trees were snapping off and falling into my yard. Yikes. The snapping sound was extremely loud. Waves of massive Squall lines of rain hit me, coming in waves of rain, then 10 minutes of quiet. The Squall line of wind and rain almost blew me out of my chair. Was scary and exciting at the same time.
Your in Asheville? How is it there. We are hearing you don't have the help needed; people still in the mountains, supplies being confiscated by FEMA.....
My family's in Lakeland and Clearwater, and they've all decided to ride it out... so I've been praying 🙏🏼 since I saw this. I couldn't do that... you can rebuild, but you can not get a redo on your life. To me, it's just not worth it.
In Cocoa/Merritt Island FL area. Lived thru many of these storms…not fun! (The area you mentioned, Ybor City, is pronounced “Ee Bore”…common mistake til you’ve lived here a while!). We live about 130 miles east of Tampa on the opposite coast, directly in the projected storm path. We cross our fingers & pray just not in that order! Hope we are able to see Friday’s episode, and thank you guys for all you do 💜💜💜
If I get taken out by this beast of a hurricane I will become an earthly Arch Angel and clean up this world✨🇺🇲✨✝️🙏🏻✝️✨🇺🇲✨Bless you all. Just know that You are the best paranormal investigation team on youtube and one of the best that I have had the pleasure to call friends. If I don't make it I will help you out on your investigations. If I do make it I would like to anyways🖖🏻
One last thing on hurricanes. One would think that evacuation is a simple task. If I could've evacuated a couple of days before the hurricane, then it probably would be easy. Unfortunately, I worked in the hospital pharmacy. Had to wait till the very last minute to evacuate. So by that time, the roads were clogged shut, bumper to bumper. In a 12 hour time span, I might not be able to travel more than 20 miles if lucky. Storm clouds were hanging very low, and tornadoes dropping from the clouds. Nowhere to go. Hail and heavy rain to deal with. I was with my wife, our miniature poodle, and crammed into a comfortable 1990 Park Avenue. After 16 hours, we gave up and parked the car at a big hotel, a convenience store, and a Denny restaurant. Both the convenience store and restaurant stayed open till they actually ran out of food supplies. My family and I sat in the car and rode out the storm. The wind was still extremely strong even though we were 50 miles from the coast. All went well. The Park Avenue was roomy and as comfortable as a car can be. The worst time we had was in the stop and go driving, moving forward a foot at a time. Knowing at any second tornados could drop onto our heads. The whole hurricane scenario from start to finish can be a massive nightmare!
