I had the pleasure to meet this lady and her family , I picked them up from the airport, glad to see she and hers kids are still living in Queretaro and every time she can she referred me to new people coming into the city
I would love to meet this lady 🙂 I am mexican I have been living in the usa for almost 20 years and I am thinking about going back but I have 3 girls and I am looking for information on schools and how families adapt to queretaro so far everything that I found was about retirees living in mexico
What a great interview. What was important to me was the message to come and give back. Be grateful to Mexico for opening their arms to you. I also love the talk about the values and quality of life vs just the cheapness which to me are a greater bonus about Mexico. Things that have been lost in so many parts of the world now, exist in Mexico. Caring, sharing, family values, a reasonable pace of life, community and respect. I haven’t been to Queretero and it looks beautiful. ❤ Thank you
Great interview! I never get tired of hearing others talk about this lovely City! Living in a neighboring City, I have the wonderful opportunity to visit beautiful Querétaro often and feel very blessed. ❤
Thank you very much to you and your guest. I really enjoyed the session and especially the highlight she provided on schooling for kids as well as availability of traditional schools 👏
I am coming to spend one or two weeks in Queretaro. I bought my plane ticket today. My visit is to move there. I am in Mérida now, but its way too hot for me being from Canada
I went to Queretaro for vacation last Augsut and I fell in love with the place. I would love to have a second home there to vacation when needed. The weather is perfect there.
Thanks for sharing your story Victoria! We are considering moving our family of three there in the fall. Your insight is helpful and appreciated. What's the best way to find a house to rent?
We recommend working with a good realtor that knows the Queretaro market well and knows how to help you find rentals without needing an aval- which is a cosigner in Mexico that usually has to be Mexican and own property in Mexico. If you need our realtor recommendations, check out our COMPLETE Mexico Relocation Guide mexicorelocationguide.com/guide
Really insightful video 🎉 thank you! I would like to have more info about the school she mentioned as I am very interested of the concept. Can I reach out to her directly perhaps? Thank you !
Hola! We would love to help you. The first step you need to consider is residency. Find the steps in this quick guide mexicorelocationguide.com/mexico-resident-visa/
@@MexicoRelocationGuide We considered it and found GTO very interesting, and the people lovely but the town was not for us due to topography, no major airport, and lesser quality private h/c options. I highly recommend that people check it out, though!
Yes and no. You can rent short term as turist but long term not. Because normally you need to sign a contract and you meed prove of residency. (If someone tells you different then means they do it illegally, my recommendation is do the right and proper way you don’t want to be THAT type of expat)
Some houses in Queretaro have AC and some do not. If it's important to you, then it should be on your list of questions to ask before signing a lease :) Also keep in mind that running an AC in Mexico can make your electricity bills increase a lot. But for some people who can't deal with an 85 degree day in their house, it's worth it.

Queretaro is safe and beautiful! There are people from all over the world studying and living there.
I love how Victoria did thorough research on Mexico before moving there- Respect! ❤
That’s the best way to move anywhere, at least the best way to avoid big surprises
Great video, and Victoria explained her experience very well, covering all bases.

mexicans don’t want people permanently moving in here, don’t come
How do you go around the co-signer to co-sign for the rental property if you don’t know anyone?
There are insurance companies that sell this or sometimes the landlord will accept a higher deposit
Queretaro its beautiful.
Queretaro de Arteaga. 🤔
Very nice
Donyou have any interviews from expats who settled in huanajuato city, gto?
Not yet 😊

Could you give the name of the school your children attend, please? Thanks. Wonderful video!
I also want to live and work in Mexico but due to language i feel nervous.. hope i will learn soon theri language.
Don’t be nervous! Learn a little at a time and practice a lot
You’ll see how you start learning it in no time
Woo hoo, finally a fellow Russian on MRG! Brava!
🥳 wooo
Спасибо!
What is the name of the school?
She mentioned that you cannot rent if you have a tourist visa, is this accurate?

I was born in Mexico and have my birth certificate. I have been living in the USA for the last 50 years. How do I obtain dual citizenship?
Go to your nearest Mexican consulate with your birth certificate to obtain a passport
Google is free.
Would love to retire in Mexico 😅
We’d love to help you figure it out

Sure you don't miss the insane hustle & bustle? It's the only way to live. This lifestyle is a one-size-fits-all 😄.
Haha 😆
I wonder if the apartment have air conditioning.

18,000 peso for groceries….😢😂What cost you so much ?
They are a family of 4 and as she mentioned they buy a lot of imported food
That would be really cheap in the states.
I would like to meet expats there and build friendships.
You can totally do it. You just have to go the the regular events and meetups
@@MexicoRelocationGuide Where do I find those events?
Thanks
Immigrants *.
Just saw her cost of living, it dosent include the kids school costs and the health insurance of her family of 4... or any medical cost. 😅
She doesn’t have health insurance at the moment. She pays for everything out of pocket 😉
OMG. Looks like chemtrails are there in Mexico. 11:11
