After day 18, you’re not supposed to open any incubator until the 22nd/23rd day. Until all the chicks are dry and fluffy. Repeatedly opening the incubator to take fresh chicks and egg shells out, threatens their lives essentially. If an egg has started to pip and you open the incubator and air enters the incubator and surrounds the eggs, it can “shrink wrap” the chicks and they can no longer pip/zip out of the egg, and then they die.
Great video for first-person experience! Does the spraying help? I have only done that with ducks...#alwayslearning 💕
Hey love ❤️
The instructions tell me to spray every 2-3 hours! So interesting how the different instructions are so different! 🤔
I always leave mine in until 3rd day after 1st hatch to give the rest a good chance can not go past 3 days lowest amount of time should be 24 hours, the ones with a baby in it probably drown I lost 4 that way my last hatch.
Don't give more then 4 extra days they end up deformed , 3 extra is all I give after having a duck take 4 extra and ended up bow legged only lived 11 months
😞 this process is not for the faint of heart. It's kinda hard to be honest.😪
It's beautiful but raw...
@@GraceFilledHomestead No it's not I cry when mine didn't make it makes you feel bad like what did I do wrong ?
I read you should wait at 24 hours minimum
I read that too
@@alpacafarmnboers yes you should.
You can leave eggs in till day 26 it gives others a chance to hatch that’s what I’m doing to 6 egg’s right now but 1/6 tried to hatch but didn’t make it 😭 so it just gives them a chance to keep them I saw online about a water test but I wouldn’t go past day 26
Oh no i a sorry you lost 1
I use distilled water in the incubators 😊
Interested in your results with the Nurture Right 360. I hatched Quail.. (no chick eggs yet) I had very poor results
Hey 💕
Do you sale quail eggs?
It was about 50% so I'm trying again to see
