Overhead strike (button+up) as the enemy walks into your grid is one of the best attacks to use, then move away and repeat. Forward thrust (button+forward,down) works well against faster enemies. Moving vertically is more important then horizontally. Never engage the swamp monster or blue giants with more then 1 attack (overhead strike) as they can 1 shot you or easily stun you. You are brave indeed after all these years to start with the red knight😀. And yes, i have completed this game many times. They only thing that could stop me were the crashes and inability to save. I started to restrict myself from certain moves to make it more challenging, mind you this is after hundreds of hours of practice.
I had the Amiga500, but I actually bought the game for PC recently. But it doesn't seem to work properly. Do you how to do? Do you have to have a joystick? Or can it be played without? Aaah!

Dude, I have the same problem. I cannot play it. Sucks totally, because the game is a gem.
