- In this video, I sculpted Gigantamax Pikachu figure from Pokémon Sword and Shield with air dry clay. This video will inspire you to make Pokémon. The clay brand name that I am using is 'Honey clay' of Donerland in Korean.

I think the most impressive part of these sculptures is how accurate the colors are. How many tries does it take?
Troy Chient the brown in the back is a mix of white, red, and black like used with the rest of the pikachu. That's amazing to me

_tekunekku yes it is, especially when your reference is a light source. It’s much easier to get colours right once you have a solid understanding of colour theory and years of practice. But when you’re looking off a lit screen like a phone or tablet that’s pretty much thrown out the window bc you have to think entirely different.

maybe because ive had experience with color theory? i've had my share of mixing colours albeit with paint but it didn't take me that much effort to find a similar color with a little trial and error :p
I like that you added the scene. It really says "this isn't just a chubby Pikachu, this is Gigantamax Pikachu!"
Just think: this actually happened in the games at certain points in history.

うp主さんが使っている粘土ってダイソーに売ってる軽量樹脂粘土っていうやつに似てるんですよね…
軽そうだし、結構伸びがいいから
ちなみに私は100均の粘土(樹脂粘土)を使ってるけど、ネチョネチョもシワシワもあまりなりません
個人的には高いというより粘土に使われている素材な気がします…あとは作る人の技術力かなと
もしネチョネチョやシワシワになりにくい方法が知りたい場合は説明するので言って下さい
私のやり方で良ければ教えます
