Luca Padovan is so adorable and sweet! I've met him multiple times and he is so great, and mature too!
The kid that plays Billy is a national treasure
You can tell that this is going to be one of those musicals where the cast just becomes (and remains) this one big, super tight-knit family. There are so many talented kids out there!
It would have been funny if Imogen interviewed her dad. haha I'm excited to see this one day!
It looks like we found the 2025 second revival cast of Spring Awakening :)
YES Alex Brightman. I'm like whatever about this show, but I know I'm damn happy he's killing it right now.
Aww Luca
I'm so excited for this!!! :D
YES! I absolutely loved this movie when I was younger... so excited it's finally a musical :D
So excited for this musical
Oh my god School of Rock is my favorite movie. Not a popular choice I know but I still love it and this just got me so excited.
Jared Parker from Matilda the musical is in this, such a great performer!
I can't believe it, I am so exited!!!
I was so sad when alex left this but i know hes happy playing Beetlejuice so i cant complain
Please say they're going to put it on DVD like they did with the 2012 Jesus Christ Superstar tour :)
SIERRA BOGGESS IS GOING TO BE IN THIS!!!!
22000 kids? Whoa. How do you even pick out of that many. How do you know you picked the best ones. That's crazy. But awesome for the kids who got it.
Huh, this is actually kinda charming...
Those uniforms look a lot like the ones my sister's school wears. And we're from the States
ALEX Brightman? Is anybody else thinking besides me that he may have a relation to Sarah Brightman? Andrew Lloyd Webber's ex-wife? He's not their son, because Sarah can't have children, he's not her brother, so he might be her cousin or her nephew. Can someone please tell me?
Lol. He isn't related at all. You do realise that people can have the same surname?
He was in Matilda
would you say this is appropriate for a 10 year old girl to see?
Yeah definitely, it's very funny. Th kids are InCRedAble There are some mild swear words but, nothing she ain't heard in the playground 😊❤️
ilya Kozlov they teach them how to stand up for themselves
Btw they're like 12+
ilya Kozlov but hey, summer mentions thay women get paid less than men and here you are saying if the words are appropriate 😂
I find it somewhat lacking. Jack black did it great. Move on …. Originality and spectacle . Looks over rehearsed and shallow and not great
Looks & sounds really interesting but also like a Matilda rip-off
Read the Language You Dream But my comment has nothing to do with the story/background of the School Of Rock movie and the Matilda book. The MUSIC performed here, especially at 3:58+ doesn't sound but looks and feels somewhat similar to Revolting Children from Matilda THE MUSICAL. Not Matilda the book. I don't know why you're bringing up the book or School Of Rock movie. The fist in the air, stomping, yelling of kids, etc feels alot like Matilda the musical. Thats why it kinda feels like a Matilda ripoff.....:)
And actually the move they do at 4:31 is done almost identically by the kids of Matilda THE MUSICAL during Revolting Children after they scream, which they also do in this. Jussayin! Still trying to figure out why you bought up the School of Rock movie & Matilda book when they're completely irrelevant to my comment
Love seeing Alex grow in the theatre world over the past couple of years! From Cabarets to a Leading role on Broadway, you can definitely say I'm so proud of him & happy for all of his success now and in his future!
