Come to Oregon to be spoiled by nice Skate parks. For the skate tourist in PDX go to Pier park, luuwit, lincoln high, burnside, tigard, Tualatin, tron (beaverton), reedville. Oh and David Gravette loves Glen Haven. Don't forget to visit Ed Benedict skate plaza!
The park may not be in great shape but, Fundamentally it has a nice low non intimating ledge to learn basics on, A nice flat bank you can jsut roll into but the pyramid has had allot of wear. May be a boring p-ark but you can learn some great basics here.
True.. I grew up skating a park that was built next to my house that all the locals hate on. But it was just basic enough that it was good for learning shit and I got very good at skating because it was a block away from my house. And then when I went to better parks or spots I had the tricks down and was able to implement them onto better spots/parks... although that curvy rail with ledge behind it may look sketchy, I bet the thing is fun as hell to skate. It looks like skating a rail with training wheels 😄
The crazy part is that it looks like it used to be a rail, but then they built a ledge around it. I’d imagine the ledge was supposed to replace the rail but someone screwed up and didn’t tell the workmen to cut the rail off first.
Gravette is a skaters skater, he embodies it to me. Fuckin just gnarly, creative, dgaf, doesn’t land everything, isn’t the craziest best dude but seems like it at the same time. He’s the man!
Also, the first time I saw this amazing series, I knew this park had to make the list. It was my first park and also my first choice on this prestigious list.
I love the fact yall go all over the NW. I am born and raised in what was once the beautiful city of Portland. I just discovered you a week ago. dude, your dope af.
Man I just laugh and love this shit man. Makes me laugh every episode. This the kind of shit and style of skating my friends and I did over ten years ago. Haven’t talked to them in a long time. Good old days man
Just got into skating about a month ago. I can't do shit yet except cruise comfortably but that's cool, I'm in no rush. But in the last few weeks David became my comfort character 😅 Watching this man kill it makes me feel at ease.
It was way worse back in the day. The ledge came first. There was no rail, no metal edges on the boxes, and the transitions up the pyramid and drop in had those same 1" gaps in the cement.
This reminds me of Denison park in Corning ny, really would have liked to see you guys done that one 😂 same set up as this place pretty much but worse concrete and steeper angles on the ramps
I see they added some concrete to give the pyramid and "quarter pipe"/ roll in some smoother transition. Use to be a concrete line where it met flat ground.
I was the one that put that bondo down! Got tired of always getting my wheel stuck in that damn crack. Bondo only lasted like a year though.
God bless your soul
Badass
Legend
Will probably never skate there as I ve never been to the US anyway but hey, thank you very much man, much appreciated :D
Never forget 99% of skaters are locals. You make us look good.
4:04 literally knocked the sonic rings out of him
The chosen one returns
Better than my local park.
Better than the best skatepark in my town

For sure, this park is near my work and I've learned tons of new tricks on that tiny ledge.
Home is what you make it
The gaps in the concrete look like the biggest problem because that’s the whole park.
@@DFunct905 Bondo is a gateway substance to hard DIY.
This isn’t a David episode without him losing his shit yo
Ik right
He lost he's Change
I think his mental health could do without
Or his leg popping out of socket
this is the calmest I’ve ever seen him
mind’s at peace fs
Gravette's style is PNW to the core. He's one of my top 5 favorites he's creative as hell.
"It feels like a rail, acts like a ledge" i like his expressions.
"which came first the rail or the ledge."
that curved ledge with the rail looked fun
It’s awkward but fun

@@DFunct905 haha never even thought of that, I just know the rail at the bottom feels like a ledge but the rain on top feels like a normal rain
He made that thing look so easy to skate
@@evandahlheimer5299 yeah it definitely takes some getting used to but it’s nothing too hard.
Any David gravette content is good content
Agreed
If you like meth heads
Everyone from Oregon and Washington and California are meth heads
Gravette is seriously funny in a subtle way
had me dying the whole vid
4:08
bro no he’s so funny
6:00 we got a part worthy clip here
Watching him pick up his loose change off the ground is probably the most relatable skater thing I've ever seen
“Well that felt fuckin tasty”
Well done. Never forget Rowley and Sorry.

“I keep drooling dude and ruining the footage.” Gravette needs his own series ASAP
Dude, this is series has to be a regular David Gravette Bronson thing!!!
Don't forget you have like a 2/3 chance of getting jumped by a crackhead when you're in Gresham
for a sandwich

The Best Series on TH-cam. Thanks David
Keep the Gravette coming
cant wait to see that world renowned switchflip at the next park
Giving the love to the local legend for the epic illusion flip is pure class mr. Gravette, well done
dudes 33 and skates like hes 19, this was sick
wouldnt be a dave video without him doing something weird like drooling, Or without a 50-50 manny combo.
Healthy Dave!!!! Love it and this series.
always happy to see David skate w/o dislocating his hip
I grew up in Gresham and spent many days learning tricks at Davis. Luckily we have a few good parks too, but Davis was always a chill place to skate
David is one of the most likeable personalities in skateboarding.
Just said that then saw this comment
I cracked a beer when y'all did. Cheers
Do Philomath next! It’ll make for a hilarious episode I know. Shared this to Oregon Skatepark Magic on fb. Great series Dave!
Does a mobass nollie flip
“You can’t learn that you’re born with that” 😂😂
"Feels like a rail. Acts like a ledge!" lol
Gravette, best dude ever!
Great series
5:03 that was the most badass pressureflip i've ever seen
That was a hardflip yo
Thanks for all of the great content!
I love that he's somehow really good and really sketch at the same time.
my stepdad clint is really gonna dig a few of these skateboarding routines
Also, the first time I saw this amazing series, I knew this park had to make the list. It was my first park and also my first choice on this prestigious list.
David Gravette is my favorite skateboarder bc of self deprecation alone
I was waiting on the boneless over that dog
dropping the change is the best most classic bit and it nearly killed me
Keep this series going!!!!
That was the most disgusting inward heel i have ever seen in my life 🤣🤣3:46
Met David at Renton, Wa indoor park. Hella chill dude and said “nice gg Allin shirt” that earns respect. Creature Feature
bro you kill these spots. agree with the other comments this is an amazing series.
World renowned sf 🤣🤣 love this human!
Gravette needs to put one of these out on Thrasher every week
all of the oregon skatepark representation in this series is really validating to me as a skater who grew up in molalla
I love the fact yall go all over the NW. I am born and raised in what was once the beautiful city of Portland. I just discovered you a week ago. dude, your dope af.
That intro was the icing on the cake.
I will buy Bronson Speed Co bearing this year solely because of this video. Nice work
G3 very good
WE NEED MORE SKATEPARK REVIEWS FROM DAVID!
Man I just laugh and love this shit man. Makes me laugh every episode. This the kind of shit and style of skating my friends and I did over ten years ago. Haven’t talked to them in a long time. Good old days man
Yeeees love this show!!

I haven't skated in years but these videos are fun to watch.
the larry david of skate boarding
Keep this series alive
we need more of these gravette!!
Love this dudes enthusiasm! 😂🙌🏾🔥
Love these and Dave!
Haha! I was going to submit a photo of my local park but you already found it! Sadly it’s still nicer than a lot you’ve skated
Brings me back to my younger days. I can't count how many times I skated there. It was so fun as a kid.
I love this series. I hope you keep em coming. What skater can't relate to a shitty park?
The best to ever do it!!!
love these man. davids a funny guy to watch
Yeah David still killing it.🤘🤙🏽
best nollie flips in the game, undoubtedly 😂
i remember seeing a video about his nollie flips a while back, glad to see they haven't changed one bit
LOVE to see all of the positive comments about Gravette and this series! Real skaters aint got time to be internet trolls!
Yeah brother I picked up your new board too👊
”Perfect flip trick weather” lmaoo
I used to do back side pop shuvs to late heel flips over the pyramid
That ledge rail combo is pretty sick!
That power sleezy down the bank was dope
Best freak out skater. More freak outs please.
his drool production is off the charts!
I’m so happy to see him on a board
Next time you're heading down I5 a bit, check out philomath skatepark just west of corvallis. It takes the cake.
Just got into skating about a month ago. I can't do shit yet except cruise comfortably but that's cool, I'm in no rush. But in the last few weeks David became my comfort character 😅 Watching this man kill it makes me feel at ease.
When he dived and change fell out his pocket I had the best laugh ever
My local park growing up was worse than this. It’s only gotten worse with time too.
When he asks what came first, the ledge or the rail?.. the ledge. It was there 20 years ago.
Come to Pulaski, NY🤣 the wood is cracked and kids play roller hockey here. We desperately need an indoor park
“Some brave local tried to bondo the crack into the tiny ass fun box... god bless his soul” 😂😂😂
I skated grass patches ,curbs and loading docks for years ...mostly at 10-3:00 am .
Best frontside flip I’ve ever seen 1:40
Reynolds got nothing on him
Simply the best

Damn Tech-Dave busting out the nollie flip!
lmao those rowley quotes were on point
Best nollie/switch flips in the game! For real though I love Gravette he's ripped rails for ages
I live like 10 mins away from this skatepark I have been here 1 time I think but it wasn’t horrible
PARACHUTE PAPERS! “If you’re gonna get high, you’re gonna need a parachute”. - D.G.
Love how he has change in his pocket 😂
This reminds me of Denison park in Corning ny, really would have liked to see you guys done that one 😂 same set up as this place pretty much but worse concrete and steeper angles on the ramps
This is better than every small outdoor park I went to on the east coast 2000-2010
I see they added some concrete to give the pyramid and "quarter pipe"/ roll in some smoother transition. Use to be a concrete line where it met flat ground.
That pyramid looks fun as hell, so does the curved ledge rail ledge rail rail ledge
