Nice review. I have the iX3M 2 GPS. This is my second Ratio I had the original dive computer iX2M Tech. The iX3M 2 GPS is a greatly improved. Dont let the size get in th eway. I dive in the canadian prairies and having a display thta is easy to see and use especially with dry gloves.
Thank you Benjamin, very useful review, thank you. A little tip for recharging your transmitter dilemma, what about getting some small power banks and recharge from those?
Great Video. Please tell me if it's worth getting interested in this computer? And what's the difference between Pro and Pro Easy Are the vibrations and sound signals loud?
Pro is for air/nitrox only, 6 settable user settings and 3 pods/mixes, DEEP adds Helium and 6 additional user settings including ones for Bulmann and VPM, Tech + ADDs 7 additional mixes/Pods, allows user to use hypoxic blends, allows user to customize GF Factors.th-cam.com/video/z2_hmuvALbw/w-d-xo.html
How do you feel about the use of it on a more 'strict' deco dive with staying within 1m/3ft of each stop? My dive buddy and I in Florida obtained a tech+ second-hand and feel like it's a bit confusing with lumping in the safety stop with mandatory deco unlike a shearwater where tech mode drops the safety stop entirely. Also the deco settings and ability to divide your stops into multiple zones is quite different (I believe this is a carry over from the VPN/bubble model 'craze' era). I'd love to see a video running through the safety stop/deco settings with comparisons once you have the tech+ upgrade.
Overall, it really comes down to what you are comfortable with and used to. At this point, I have used so many different computers that it really doesn't phase me any longer. (Other than I tend to compare everything to Perdix because that was my first tech computer). Once I got use to using this one for more advanced tech, I really liked it. It is really pretty neat to be able to click over and see your entire deco schedule with times and depths. It is funny to see it in the metric conversion in imperial though. :)
I have no idea why these videos have so little views. They are TOP QUALITY REVIEWS - IMHO the best out there!
Thank you for this :)

Great idea for location. I would be curious to try it for sure and see how close to 100% it would get.

I'm (55) green horn diver. I am in the marker for a dive computer. This one has a lot of potential. How is customer's support?
Good and getting better. They just signed a service agreement with the same company that provides Shearwater services.
