Dear Laptop upgrade! I have a HP 250 G1 with inter celeron 1000m CPU. The chipset is Intel HM70 Express. According to HP support site, this chipset only supports intel celeron/ pentium CPU-s. How is it possible that you replaced your Intel Celeron 1000m with I5 3230M when it is not supported by the motherboard?
the HM70 Chipset Has a software limitation that after 30 minutes with an unsupported processor, using bioa rewrite and Me Clean can remove the limitation but it's laborious

Hah, not gonna work, because HP 250 =/= HP 255. HP 255 has soldered CPU straight to motherboard. Single-use piece of crap.

I have this same laptop, when I turn it on it gives me black screen and turns of after few seconds, could it be the cpu ?
