Hes not even one of the first first rappers in Korea, but hes one of the first rappers who really brought hiphop to become a popular culture in Korea, and for hiphop to be accepted by Korean society. Youll see why i said his skills are too good to just stay in Korea. Just watch. Dok2 is already a legend, but hes got more comin
@Andrew Lee also i respect Jay Park as well but they got their own reasons to leave Korea (when Jay first left Korea) Dok2 was innocent from the recent scandal, so its not like he cant go back to Korea. Hes already super successful in Korea and even his fans want him to come back. So really he could have just stayed in Korea and call it good but it was his choice to leave Korea and come to US bc he wants more challenge, show America that even "Korean rappers can rap like this too" and hed be another level of legend in Korea's history. And being his fan for a long time now, just watch... Hes onto something, mad respect for him. And honestly, comparing his skills to rappers in the US (no hate) hes already better than alot of the rappers here
