"His start" and this episode made Endeavor my favourite character of the series besides Kirishima. His resilience, perseverence, fearlessness, and raw strength is just unreal. What a character with an amazing arc! Always rooting for him.

This was the moment that a) Endeavor finally matched and, maybe, surpassed All Might (not prime All Might though) and b) All For One finally felt fear against something that’s not One For All
I wouldn't say that. Bakugo pulled the same thing too.
All For One is just used to being the pinnacle of power with no one to challenge him. All Might was the first hero to ever actually beat him and leave permanent injuries to him.
All For One seems to forget that quirks have now evolved to become extremely complex and powerful. So people like endeavor and Bakugo despite not having One For All can actually pose a real threat to him, and that alone scares him, reminds him of All Might. All For One just has a hard time accepting he's no longer an almighty God compared to other people in terms of power.

AFO is prepared to do whatever it takes against OFA, but he never considered the idea that others, even without superhero training, can rise up to match him. Due to this fear he created the Nomu as an army

The energy behind the scene was master class, you really felt endeavor’s struggle and desire to put an end to this fight…. However the drawing was a bit off, like they suddenly decided to give him a chin double his size. Still a badass scene despite the issues!
That and the heat vision are my fav parts
the animation isnt the problem, the cinemtography is, they could've picked better angles and stuff instead of just following endeavor's face

I've been saying this for years now. Since season 4, Bones are doing the bare minimum in terms of animation for the main series. It's sad because Hori art and dynamism is insane, you can feel the impact and the speed of the attacks on the manga, but the anime is sooooo slow, like they're fighting underwater. I was looking for that Tokoyami Ragnarok, and the animation is just OK, not bad but meh. Endeavor vs AFO in the manga is insane, here is just like 1:1. They're just animating the panels and nothing more. 0 improvisation, 0 creativity. IMO Bones doesn't care about BNH anymore, they just care about the movies.

It's Ambiguous as All for one stated when he last fought all might that he has been depleted of a ton of his srongest quirks.
Endeavor probably surpassed All Might at the end of his career but no way he his stronger than the All Might who 1v1 AfO in his prime(all might literrally blowed half of his head off), the only way to know would be to see a proper display of AfO and All might ability in their prime .

There are lots of fights in the upcoming eps. Obviously they can't allot most of the budget here like in the last S4 episodes. Plus, this is great animation, not just the all-out type of animation

Time to say what I've been saying! And when all hope seemed lost, the number one hero did the one thing he knows how to do successfully, and he brought the heat! Endeavor’s a great pro hero. That’s just like, a fact, regardless of how I feel about him. In a weird way, this fight kinda shows off his best and worst attributes, as a hero, and as a person. As a hero, he’ll be willing to sacrifice his own arm just to get the job done and go head to head with some of the strongest villains in the world. But as a person, he’s been unable to confront his past head on, and will settle for figuratively burning the past for the second time instead of actually continuing to atone like he promised he would. Ultimately, it speaks to the kind of person that he is, someone who’s brave enough to go head to head with a villain like All for One and accept his wrongdoings, but too much of a coward to ever confront his own abusive past and do the bare minimum to atone for it. He can only admit that he was wrong and continue to do what he's been doing.
All for One basically said “You’re awful,” expecting that to drag him down, and Endeavor just responded with, “you’re right, I am awful," and beats him.
In a super weird way, I guess Endeavor is the perfect number one hero for society as is. A flawed and corrupt face for a flawed and corrupt society. It’s like poetry it rhymes.

i think this scene and the latest episodes bakugo scene is a great way of showing that deku and allmights power and overwhelming height above other heroes is barely because of their quirk, but rather because they always fight with their utmost ability. Just like bakugo says, his awakening moment was something that happened to deku years ago
