Watch Staples Singers Perform Respect Yourself and I' ll take You There at Induction ceremony 1995 the other is Mavis Staple Kennedy Center Honors. They sang at a lot of MLK's speeches including Wash DC Mavis was also inducted into the Hall on her own career.
"Respect Yourself" is my favorite song of theirs.
There seems to be a whole lot of "doing it" in that song. Thankfully, they got married! Not really, sounds like they have sweet memories. Congratulations on finding love!
