Definitely one of the most comprehensive videos I've seen on backhold. Great job!

Well done, comprehensive video. It helped me understand a few flaws in my techniques of backhold wrestling.

Great video, not found anything like this on backhold wrestling at all. Now all I need to do is actually find a backhold club/gym/classes. I always seem to get so close and then nothing comes out of it

I'm from Renfrew but I could obviously travel a wee bit further - say glasgow or something. I'm aware of one place in Paisley (Right next to Renfrew), but I've not found any further information on it other than the fact that it exists. I was also told about 2 in Glasgow. Only problem with me is I would prefer to get in contact with someone maybe via a website or something since I'm a pretty anxious person. I don't do good at just showing up or talking on the phone

We train in Carnoustie, next to Dundee, so not sure on that area's layout, but do know there's a cleb in Red Road and Hamilton. I'm an ex commitee member of the Scottish Wrestling Bond, so can look it up for you. My name on FB is facebook.com/profile.php?id=100006875323418. Add me as a friend and I'll answer any questions you have. Frazer is an ex European champion, myself an ex ref. Just fire them questions at me, and I'll get you to the best place. The place is in Paisley is run by Zane, nice lad.

I think Carnoustie sounds a bit far for me. I just searched renfrew to carnoustie in google and it would take over an hour to travel. I've heard of the one in Hamilton also and actually talked to someone who either runs it or goes to it, called Mark Johnstonne. That's a bit far also, though... I'm sure Mark is on the Scottish wrestling bond also? Because I was talking to someone on the page, and straight after I had done that he started talking to me on his personal account. I'll add you just now and we can see what happens, haha. Cheers for getting in touch, I really appreciate it a lot.

I wonder if this style of grappling has weight classes or age divisions?

Frazer is my head coachat Carnoustie Backhold Wrestling Club. Here in Scotland, it is divided into weight categories, whereas in England - North half - the kids are devided into ages.

Do competitors of this have to take an
S group or can they utilize a Gable grip. I've looked all over the internet but I cannot seem to find specific rules to the grip utilized

th-cam.com/video/qkg8si6DXNQ/w-d-xo.html Zane Grey says you can use a non S Grip, you just can't interlace your fingers.

I have a message that I’m sharing where I can, some may not want to hear this, but I ask that we stay polite and seek truth together. 😊
Love is an action. Feed the hungry, house the homeless, father the orphan, and protect the defenseless and vulnerable.
Read the Word for yourself, not only relying on others for guidance. Pray for guidance.Yahushua/Yeshua - His Hebrew name who is usually called (Jesus) taught to keep the whole Word. Including the Law/Torah. Matthew 5:17 “Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not [g]the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished! 19 Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches [h]others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever [i]keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Read 1 John. John tells us that sin is lawlessness, and that we must keep the commandments. Trust in the atonement of Yahushua/Yeshua who is usually called Jesus, and keep God (YHWH)'s whole Word/commandments. Revelation 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. Revelation 14:12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. Go to parableofthevineyard youtube channel for information about the bible and good bible studies. I'm in no way paid or sent by him for advertising. I just have learned a lot from his content. He's just a man who is trying to learn as well. :) Yeshua died so we may be resurrected to eternal life.....
I post this everywhere, I'm not just targeting a specific channel.
