The evil Frollo's Testimony sounds like organ music from a silent horror movie. It's not by Pugni, but has a unique ring to it that's scary and modern which sets it apart from the mostly joyful score.
Thank you so much for uploading this! I'm gonna dance the "Gypsies' Dance" from the Ballet Esmeralda, and I needed the music for practicing :)

Gorgeous music, I especially love Pas de Six. I can't understand why nobody re-releases Pugni's music, are people today really so deaf? I have a hard time believing that there isn't anyone who woul buy it.

@@ronniedamnitz9295 Yes, I know, I love Drigo and it's the same situation with his music, impossible to get. Minkus is more available, his Bayadere, DQ, Paquita, half of The Stream are easier to find, I have them all

No. Believe it or not that particular variation doesn't even come from the ballet Esmeralda.
@@mrlopez-pz7pu Hello! Do you know from where it comes the music used in Grand Pas de Fleurs by Burlaka/Medvedev production for the Bolshoi? I asked few people and they say only Phoebus music comes from Schenk’s Bluebeard and rest I don’t know. They say are from Pugni and Drigo added in Petipa’s revivals.

You can't.. it's impossible to find now this CD or any music by Pugni, there might be used CD on Amazon but they charge a fortune for out of print CDs, I looked and looked..

very hard to find - I wrote a review on amazon I think. And that classicalballetmusic web site is filled with low quality bootlegs.
Olga, they don't have anything except few ballets they steal from You Tube, clean p the sound and sell for almost 40 dollars. They said that openly themselves. I am not paying 40 dollars for that.
I looked all over Amazon, they have zero Pugni except for DVD of Pharaoh's Daughter with a dancer I despise. No Drigo either...and Drigo is quite popular, especially Millions of Harlequins and Talisman.
