I'd love to see your "Road to Wheelie Mastery" series. I see that you can wheelie a bit, like me. But I'd like to see you document your progress on getting comfortable with balance point. Maybe it will help me overcome my own fright issues and join you. :)
Your statement about becoming a better rider through variation of moto type speaks to me. We should all strive to be better. Thanks for your videos and I'm in for the ride!
A few things regarding wheels and tires ... slicks are sticky only once they get heat in them, and they heat up harder than regular street tires. When cold, slicks can actually be worse than regular tires. And regarding the front tire, there is no street tire option for 16.5 inches, so your only options are slicks or rain slicks. Enjoy!
Time for some axle sliders. The rear spindle looks scraped up. Front nut looks like it too. Threaded rod, and skateboard wheels are a cheap way to make your own. Rad hose, and a long gear clamp work well for making an exhaust protector. You'll need tire warmers if you plan on running slicks (for track use). Maybe find a 17" x3.5" front hoop, and learn how to respoke and true the front wheel. No street tire choices with a 16.5".
I own a DRZ400SM as a second bike next to my Tenere 700. It's one of the most fun bikes I've ever ridden. I can't imagine how good that Husqvarna 450 is🤤
You're gonna love it on a kart track. You're riding skills will improve a ton. Make sure you get heat on those tires before you start pushing it. Cold slicks can be dangerous cold
I have the exact same bike, can't wait for this build. The "fi" light is not a fuel level light. It flashes to indicate an issue. If you hold down the "tc" button and the map select at the same time, it engages launch control mode. Have fun!
For me I couldn’t go SM or MX and not get a 2 stroke. Mastering the 2 stroke power band is a mind fook for a 4 stroke river but I’m having a blast learning it
The yz250f is, IMO, the best dirtbike ever made (at least are far as four strokes go). It's exactly the right amount of power for dirt. Light enough to throw it around and really take control of the bike. Damn I miss my 250.
Loved the vid! In Swizerland Supermotos are a comman "streetbike" and you can see them often racing up the Alps racing about. Its perfekt for stunting aswell :)
You should definitely give a track day a go on your mt09. It's the one thing that me much better at biking and understanding what your bike can actually do.
Hey Chaos Causes, can you please do a video, or tell me about how to get the best sound captured when riding your bike? You did one like 5 years ago with the Zoom h1 i think. Thank your for all your videos with many tips and tricks! Greetings from Germany.
I'm in the process of converting my DR650 into a supermoto. I just don't have the time nor friends who ride to justify a weekend on the dirt. I'd rather enjoy it every day in the city.
I would say you mist the mark on this one. Super Motos are stunt bikes the key features you want in a stunt bike are cheapnes, soft suspension and high tourqe. You forget to mention the price of these bikes but all of those "upgrades" cost a pretty penny second hand they go for 7-8 grand Which means your not so willing to bash it about and try new things. That stiffer suspension for a race bike helps keep the wheels planted not really something you want when trying to wheelie or stoppie. The brakes are a good upgrade but only when paired with low end grunt to get the wheel up or the back spinning something you mentioned they changed in favor of top end. Its not a bad bike it just doesn't really embody the $1000 dirt bike that's been thrashed and beaten fliping it 500 times and dents in the engine from crashing it after jumping the burm. Idk just a thought
Can someone explain to me why there's so few supermotos you can actually buy? Pretty much only the KTM/husky/Gasgas 690/701. This despite an apparent huge demand...
cus you can't make an legal 450 in europe with all the emission restrictions. KTM exc's for example come out with like 10hp from factory , and once you unlock the full power - it's illegal to ride at streets
@@funserious2632 sure, but who said 450? I'd be fine with the 690 getting some competition, that engine is fully euro5 compliant and I'm sure any of the big 4 would have no trouble developing a street legal 1-cylinder in that cc range. Right now there's literally just the KTM 690 engine to choose from. KTM, Husky, Gasgas, it's just three versions of the same overpriced bike. I've been saying this for a while, but I think Yamaha should shove the CP2 in a lightweight chassis and basically recreate the Nuda 900. I think that bike would sell like crazy, I'd certainly be lining up to buy one.
That's not street legal anywhere :D it's a track bike. But what you can do is buy street legal enduro (like ktm 450 exc) and put supermoto wheels on it and stiffen up the suspension. Then you get pretty much exactly the same bike as on the video.
I mean... How strange, suspension is hard, gearing is long, grip is hi and brake effort is low... Maybe because its... A idk, FS450? Like? "The" husqvarna race supermoto >.> No hard feelings though! I love the fact that you street ride a race bike xD
Don’t be selfish, fill your wheelie practice sessions, you jerk! Cyber bully! 😜 throw them on a second channel if necessary and link us to it but do it!
Did I see a wheelie and a little stoppie 🤩 Proud of you ✌️
Hi 😯
They’re both small but fun 😂🙌🏻
Now Rok will release stickering for that
@@kingofmonsters7452 😅 definitely
Bhai ❤️

I ride a 06 525exc converted to supermoto and it’s one of the most fun bikes I’ve ever ridden. Keep up the great work

at 7:40 your rear disc seems completely blue / purple, it's a sign it was overheated. be careful as overheated disc is less efficient in braking.
Nice attention, who knows maybe this will save someone one day

08:01, That oil spill is a nice touch

Hahahahaha! Told u! Yeah! Nice dude, this is so good. I'm bulding my own with a CRF. I'll enjoy the vids with the Sumo so much! Cheers mate!
Shes a STUNNER! 😍 Looking forward to more content on this bike 👊👊
The yz250f is, IMO, the best dirtbike ever made (at least are far as four strokes go). It's exactly the right amount of power for dirt. Light enough to throw it around and really take control of the bike. Damn I miss my 250.

You should try a quad, they are awesome!
finally sumo! I ride WR450 supermoto so Im glad I can see u got one yourself :)
I've been watching your videos back and forth but this video made me sub! Now i want to see some nice supermoto content 😍
You should definitely give a track day a go on your mt09. It's the one thing that me much better at biking and understanding what your bike can actually do.
I have a CRF 450RX with dual sport tyres on, the continental TKC80, it's a cheaper "supermoto" conversion that can still go offroad :P
Mandem is about to start learning wheelies properly and getting comfy with it being up there. Supermotos are always the way to go for wheelies😂❤
Yessssss, got an unused DRZ400E I'm converting at the moment
Im not sure if that was a joke, but that FI light is not for fuel! As far as i know its for a fault current circuit breaker!
Looks like an awesome fun bike! Congrats!
P.S You're one of few riders who pronounce "Akrapovič" correctly 😄
Great choice, hope soon post videos about it
Oh how far you've come! keep it going man!!!
Love it bro, keep it up! Can't wait to see what comes next!
You could also do two colour wheels too other than that it's cool that you wanted to try something new!
Some progress on riding it would be cool to see
Its Bad Ass. definetly go for the rebuild attempt, and get a sweet bold design graphics kit.

This is the earliest I’ve ever been
I'm in the process of converting my DR650 into a supermoto. I just don't have the time nor friends who ride to justify a weekend on the dirt. I'd rather enjoy it every day in the city.
Mate super moto is the go!!! I love mine to death. You can give big bikes a run for there money in the twisties
Great work!!
I love this bike
Luv those wheels man and the tires too❤️💖
You should check out bold designz graphics kits. They’re awesome
Knew this was destined to happen with your love of naked and dirt bikes. Love it, can’t wait to see more sumo content 🤙🏼

Hey man , ive got a full akra system for that bike. Let me know if you're keen🤘🏽
I thought you would have gone for a road legal supermoto
You should try the formula k track down the road from you I hear good things 😂

Supermoto’s are here to muck around! Racers are fun and all until you have a massive crash.
you should get new tires those slicks will have way less grip on the road than road tires unless you get them really hot
Awsome vid I love supermotos
Imagine a bold graphics kit on this
Get it road registered. Supermoto's are good fun on the road.
You don't need it registered in South Africa lol
And also thats not a fuel light.
When will you buy a trials bike? Amazing for motor skills
Great video :)
Have a look at Formula-K (go kart track)
They have bike days.
Check out husaberg fe 450 from 2009-2012. There you have a cool bike
The only thing you're missing is a license plate
Dude I could kiss you with this creamy silky content. Awesome job of the stunt work with the bike!
Yo this Guy bought a supermoto, LETS GO
where are you located where its okay to ride a bike without a plate or a headlight on the open road?
Is it just me or is that a 1st or 2nd gen VFR Engine?
Make it street legal (headlight, taillight...) and u dont need to rebuild the top end for another 50 hours.
Super motos seem fine mate. Are there road legal ones in SA for sale below 500cc mark?
DRZ400SM
i think it would be cool to see a V4 engine on a super moto
Next bike has to be a trials bike!
4:53 You forgot to mention TM
Bolddesignz graphics!
Should of gotten a 2 stroke supermoto ;)
If you give it the beans it will feel like it has a lot more lower end than what you think it does.
I just wish they'd made a street legal version for the US too. Very cool machines.
That's not street legal anywhere :D it's a track bike. But what you can do is buy street legal enduro (like ktm 450 exc) and put supermoto wheels on it and stiffen up the suspension. Then you get pretty much exactly the same bike as on the video.
wow ! ! ! ! ! awesome video amazing ! ! ! ! ! !
Its about damn time
Weeeeelie time !!!!
so how does one do a top end on a 4stroke lol
Sweet bike! Dont you need to have it street legal in SA to ride on the road? Or will it just be a track bike?
Cops don't give a shit about us bikers in SA. And if they do, well....
Not sure how i feel about selling my FE450 :( was so good to mess around with it
Hi , good job bro ! I have a KTM DUKE II 640 . 🤜
The question is- did you try any of that on your Duke, and did you ever ride it in Supermoto mode?
He is so cute 🤩 can we call him Rocky 🥰
I ride a 2021 Husky 701 SM and I'd love to have a FS450 as well, but there is no way to make it street legal. :(
Why an actual track supermoto instead of a streetlegal exc?
Oof, any bike measured in hours instead of miles is a hard pass for me. But it looks good for YOU! 😂 Looks like fun! A stoppie machine.
fe450 would be cooler tbh, but congratulations
If you really wanna "master" supermoto, learn to back it in! Most fun part of supermoto.
Finally!!
Love it
Should have got one that was street legal.
Buy a 701 for daily use 😅🤷♂️
Finally 🥵🤟
Jadi pengen, beliin bg 🗿
Do you have a day job? If so what is it?
I mean... How strange, suspension is hard, gearing is long, grip is hi and brake effort is low... Maybe because its... A idk, FS450? Like? "The" husqvarna race supermoto >.>
No hard feelings though! I love the fact that you street ride a race bike xD
If you just wanted a toy to play on, why not get a road registered SM?
bro naow that you own a supermoto you now make a video about learning to do a wheelie
now do wheelies
Wowwwwww
bruh what even is a Super moto
147.000kml really?then gudos to husqvarva
Don’t be selfish, fill your wheelie practice sessions, you jerk! Cyber bully! 😜 throw them on a second channel if necessary and link us to it but do it!
to think youll have more fun on something else is just stupid,, I love my dirt bikes and R1
but my KTM450 uncorked is just Fucking fun period,
Buy a leather suit en send it
Do a trip with supermotofools en rokbagoros
Than you learn what supermoto riding is
The biuld is suoer cool but Husqvarna isn't remotly close to KTM
Husqvarna is owned by KTM the mx and enduro bikes are almost identical and the road bikes all at least use KTM engines
