Fun fact: The Dick Tracy Show reruns was widely syndicated again in 1990 during the spring to fall months on various independent channels as well as several Fox stations to coincide with the release of Dick Tracy (1990). But the reruns caused controversy due to the ethnic stereotypes portrayed by the characters Joe Jitsu and Go-Go Gomez. The reruns were pulled due to protests by concerned parents. They returned in heavily edited form with all segments featuring those two characters removed.

Police Squad was great, but American audiences are generally too stupid to appreciate it.

I love the intro and the music, the characters, but the stories themselves are pretty stupid. GHrest memories from the 60s!
