    I have used DMSO since the mid ‘70s. Then it was for knee pain. Through the years I have kept it on hand for all manor of aches and pains. I do play guitar and have been using it on my hands for the past 10 years with great affect. And no, it has not damaged any guitars (all finishes). It is the best kept secret.

      In this case, DMSO is used to draw the medicine into the body. This is also why you have to be so careful about what you come into contact with while you have dmso on your skin. It is important to cleanse the areas being treated with distilled water. Nothing with chemicals or filth of any kind or else it will be drawn into your system. I use it multiple ways and one of those wate is to draw topical medications in deeper to the treatment area.

    My cat is in kidney failure.Shes in pain and had trouble with stomach. Dr Andrew Jones Veterinary Secrets told me about Pepsid for her tummy,and DMSO, and cystitis. She was hiding,and not eating or drinking. So I gave it a try . That day she began drinking. That night she began eating and jumping up her stairs to my bed . This stuff is unbelievable! Our health food store didn’t even know it was ok for animals,but this Dr was a vet for 25 years,now doing holistic medicine. He’s still a Vet and he saves so much $ and loves animals.
    Thanks I’ll definitely try it .

      Robert Cassard Indeeed . Tumeric is great as well . However it is classified as a blood thinner. So... if you take Tumeric take capsules with pepper for absorption. No aspirin,warfarin,or heparin if taking Tumeric,or vice versa. On the advice of ones Dr of course . Yes that vet on utube in in BC . I’m in Ontario Canada, and truth be told ,this man knows 8 natural antibiotics for pets . If you know anyone with pets ,please seek him out ,he also has a free book . His stuff ,advice is amazing. I mean I’ve saved thousands of dollars. I just rubbed it right onto her joints through the spray bottle diluted. It’s literally done something,because that cat hadn’t moved in 2+ days . It’s amazing. Thanks for sharing about the guitar. I play as well. Excellent info. You’re so welcome.

    • @freespiritwithnature4384
      @freespiritwithnature4384 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@kerenjoseph9122 Yes I did . I combed her fur the best I could . I did do warm compresses on and around her milk ducts because she has some good size lumps . I sprayed a little bit on diluted with distilled water , 60/40 . If it’s still bad after a week, try going up a bit . I cut her fur in that area off because she’s indoors. I checked to make sure that there was no redness etc . Then I massaged area . I did massage it and when I applied pressure to the larger area,I was shocked at the amount of clear fluid that came out . You must make sure your cats / dogs fur is combed and cleaned. I wipe it with warm compresses or after her bath. Do not have any perfumes,lotions ,etc on your hands . I don’t use fabric softeners either,for myself and my pets . They are great mice repellents . So if bounce sheets repell mice what’s it doing to us . ❤️
      I bathe my cat , but have done so for many years . I actually run water in a Rubbermaid tub ,after it’s just warm I add only apple cider vinegar ( Braggs) . If bathing make sure door is open ,and after they drink . If they start panting or have mouth open , get them out of that room , because they’re to hot ok or it’s to steamy for that animal. At the time she had a lump near her urethra,and I was massaging her abdomen,I felt a sand like substance ( which was the lump I was feeling in urethra) so I got lucky. She was passing her urine ok , and I freeze her water . So if I have to go out she has one cold and one frozen bowl ,just put some clean water on top of ice . I feed( grain free senior only,) + it’s made a world of difference.
      It’s really important to change their water every few hours . Ice lasts longer.
      I sprayed the DMSO on the areas just enough to wet it . It’s only 10 $ at the Health Food Store Roots Brand .
      It smells like garlic and it’s warm when it touches your hand . I follow Dr Andrew Jones,who was a veterinarian for 23+ yrs .
      Now he’s holistic,but definitely doesn’t encourage owners not to go to their vets . It’s just not affordable for so many people.
      You can find him on utube,and he also has excellent videos on all animals and DMSO ,including kidney stones issues for cats dogs and he’s got a free book as well . Look on up Veterinary Secrets ok with Dr Andrew Jones. 😊
      Good luck with your baby. Text anytime ok. I did it for about 4-5 days . Then I check and give her a few days and repeat. Personally I think you know your animal. I know my Josephine,and afterwards she’s purring like a kitten. It must feel like mastitis. So the warm compresses help .
      If you use ACV make sure the water is just warm. You want to keep the ACV Braggs because it’s from the mother. it’s properties to do the trick.
      My vet couldn’t believe how soft she was . However they don’t like these holistic ideas. However Dr Andrew Jones is excellent,and I definitely trust him. Watch the video on utube. He’s excellent.

    Please mention in any video about DMSO that you need to have extremely clean skin and never mix it with lotion or something unpure. 99% DMSO needs to be diluted with distilled water or something really pure because DMSO is a solvent it will drive any contaminants right into the skin/the body. Also, I have the same brand, same bottle of DMSO that you show in the beginning and that is not an oil. I think you said that accidentally! :) In fact, as you mention it's 99.9% pure DMSO. There's not oil in there. Thanks for a great video to get the word out about DMSO. Also, it is normal for it to burn a little bit. If this is a problem, dilute it with more distilled water.

    • @RobertCassard
      @RobertCassard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Thanks for those clarifications, Karri. Clean skin is a must! I’m certainly not an expert on DMSO, so I’m trusting anyone who sees this video to do plenty of their own research regarding purity, dilution, etc.

    • @karrigarcia1399
      @karrigarcia1399 4 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      @Zeniyah Yes, but the DMSO itself is not oil, which was an error in the video. I do personally use mine with 2 drops of EO with it but I almost never recommend that because people will not use enough caution. EOs are extremely potent and DMSO is an extremely powerful solvent. These are good attributes but many people take the "if a little is good, more is better" approach which is potentially dangerous unless the person is very knowledgeable about both EOs and DMSO. I am degreed in microbiology/chemistry so I feel like I can respect the power of this combo but I'm wary of telling anyone to use EOs with DMSO. The wrong combination or the wrong dose could result in some risk. Actually, there is one scenario of that combination I have recommended to others and that is that DMSO mixed with a little EO is excellent for curing nail fungus. I would opine that DMSO + tea tree would also cure ringworm.

    • @RobertCassard

      When you’re using Essential Oils, it sounds like you’re using a very small amount of the EO (2 drops) and then mixing with the DMSO as a way to help the EO go transdermal and get absorbed. Is that correct, Karri?

The one thing that needs to be assured is the grade of DMSO used, for safety sake it must state medicinal grade on the label if not it is more than likely solvent grade. Im glad I found this because my left hand has been going numb and having pain. I’m going to give it a try. I think most guitars have urethane finishes nowadays. Acetate will dissolve lacquer and I work a lot with lacquer doing builds and repairs so I’m glad you mentioned it.

    • @RobertCassard
      @RobertCassard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I really hope it helps you, Frank. Keep in mind that DMSO goes transdermal and works quite fast. If you apply it at least 30 minutes before you’re going to play guitar, it should already be dry and not affect any guitar’s finish. If it’s not dry, you can go ahead and wash your hands before playing...you’ll still have gotten the pain-relieving benefits. In my situation, it only took a couple of weeks to resolve my pain issues and I haven’t needed the DMSO ever since!

      Robert Cassard It helped a little but my condition has gotten a little worse and has formed bone spurs on my vertebrae. This is causing pressure on the nerves that go to my hands and legs and causing numbness and pain in my extremities and back as well. I’m going to the hospital to get checked out again since it’s been a few months since I’ve gone. I’ll keep using the DMSO cream because it does provide a little relief about the same as taking 2 Advil’s. It doesn’t take the pain away it just takes the edge off of it. I’m going to try to combine DMSO and CBD oil and see if I can get a little more relief that way.

      Interesting comment, Dee Ess. If your hands are too small for the standard size guitars you have, consider selling/trading one or more of them for instruments that are perfect for smaller hands. There are well-made 3/4 size guitars (e.g., Yamaha). Ukelele is how I learned, back when my hands were too small for a standard guitar. And there’s always the mandolin, which most guitarists complain has too small a neck and fingerboard for them, but might be perfect for you. If you want to make music, don’t let anything stop you! Glad you’re trying DMSO. I only needed to use it for about 6 weeks and my hand pain issues totally resolved.

    A word of caution: while this is an awesome thing to use for cuts, injuries and pain relief, prolong use will eventually wipe out your flora which is your immune system. When taking this or antibiotics, for that matter, it is important to take a probiotic to replenish the good bacteria found within our bodies. To fix bone or joint problems, Coral Calcium is something you need to look into also.

      @@RobertCassard DMSO is a carrier. Better and faster than petro which is used in pharma drugs. It draws oxygen into your body which helps accelerate healing and acts as it's own antibiotic because bacteria can not survive with direct contact with oxygen. Prolonged used will bombard your body with oxygen which will attack all bacteria in your body, including the good and bad bacteria that makes up your immune system. Which in turn gives Candida a clear path to run rampant thru out your body. I'll stop here and let you do your own research (remember, doctors prescribe antibiotics and never probiotics to help repair the damage that the antibiotics has caused.)

      To create a 50% concentration of anything that is currently 100%, you just use an amount of it added to an equal amount of water. The math to prove this: If you add, say 40 ml of DMSO and 40 ml of water, you then have 80 ml total. The DMSO concentration becomes 40ml of the total 80 ml, which is 50%. (Technically, there is some variation between a % solution based on weight or by volume, especially with some liquids like alcohol and water where surprisingly, adding a cup of each does NOT result in 2 cups of solution, but it won't make much difference for these DMSO uses)

Also, it is normal for it to burn a little bit. If this is a problem, dilute it with more distilled water. What should be mentioned in any video about DMSO that you need to have extremely clean skin and never mix it with lotion or something unpure. 99% DMSO needs to be diluted with distilled water or something really pure because DMSO is a solvent it will drive any contaminants right into the skin/the body. Simon Cheng I did all my own research on DMSO, just using online sources. Since your areas of pain are specific, I’d absolutely do topical-only treatment start and see how far that goes to eliminating your pain. My guess is it you will feel a difference quickly, and it will really help after a few weeks. FYI - When I did take it internally, my wife really complained about the smell. I don’t recall the dilution, but I do remember it was heavily diluted in distilled water. (You can find more info online if you search.) My hope is that won’t be necessary for you...

    Hey Guy's...! Look, I'm just as interested in getting pain relief as the next guy, but a casual acquaintance of mine GAVE me an 8oz. bottle of DMSO and guaranteed immediate results. (He also gave me a recipe of how to "Drink-it" mixed with fruit juices due to it's strong garlic taste). Well, it took about 2 weeks and YES, it did work, (without drinking it...are you shitting me?), and things were fine. Problem being, during the last 2 week period, I rubbed the stuff on my left wrist and sat down at my laptop on my brand-new dining room table and after about 15 minutes, my eye caught some leakage onto said table...I jumped-up and wiped it off but to NO avail. It had taken the finish OFF that table down to raw wood. Now, with that being said...wouldn't you think that an industrial solvent may have an adverse effect on absorbing this into your skin, not to mention drinking it? Jesus..are you kidding me? MAN!! I'll take my chances with Acetaminophen, (or what ever), instead of Stage 4-5 whole body cancer, all from stupidity? LEAVE THIS SHIT ALONE MY FRIENDS!!! Yeah, it's a "quick fix", but if you tend to experiment with a horrible- lingering Death...why not try Turpentine, etc. & see what happens...they're both industrial solvents along the same lines.

    • @RobertCassard
      @RobertCassard  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I totally appreciate your experience and opinion, Jim. I could give the same dire warning about many prescribed pharmaceutical pain relievers - especially opioids. But just because DMSO a solvent, why do you extrapolate that it will cause "Stage 4-5 whole body cancer" or that it's the same as turpentine and will cause a "horrible lingering death"? DMSO has been used in moderation and very successfully by many people, including me. It only took me a couple weeks to get past a debilitating issue, with permanent benefits. I haven't needed it again since!

Puedes conseguirlo en roll-on.

Realmente te animo a conseguir algunos.

    Has anyone tried this orally for autoimmune?

      I took it orally for about a week, but not for autoimmune issues. I think it helped permanently resolve my trigger finger problem, but it also made me smell like a weird metallic garlic factory.

    If you have guitarists, start playing the drums to rid it. (Joke from a drummer).

      Yes...a drummer (especially a loud one) can successfully remove some guitarists. Your results may vary.
