Thank you, Chad, Staci, and boys, for your hospitality while working on "Moby" my white Whale Suburban. Also for fixing my Tracker with its impromptu trans leak. You guys are awesome! Hope to see y'all this summer.
quite a crew all working together - and great to see the old iron still in use (I mean the suburban, not Chad of course) - fun to watch the upgrades. Thanks all
Your consciousness approach to each aspect of a job is profoundly admirable. Your sons have this same ethic which says a great deal about them as men and you as their father! Thank you. Larry of Paragonah
Nice to see Chad and the boys working together, 😊 I have been blessed to have worked with my dad on repair projects, as we both have gotten older it is much more enjoyable and memorable, I'm 62 ,dad is 86, men keep up the great work 🤗
It's a pleasure watching you and your family work together. The patience and respect you appear to have for one another is wonderful. Not the least of which is the mechanical expertise you have in making sure the job is done correctly and you take no short cuts. Great videos!!
One of your many qualities is you don’t just fix the problem at hand, you future proof things as well, like putting corrugated tubing on to protect the trans cooler piping, spacing the cooler from the condenser. These are the small but important preventive maintenance steps you take for your customers. Cheers from Mudjimba beach QLD Australia.
Love watching your stuff but I really enjoy the customer vehicle work. It does a great job teaching good mechanic work and proper troubleshooting techniques. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from north Texas
Thanks for sharing your knowledge Chad and family! I will have to admit that I was a little surprised to see you guys sharing work on a customer's vehicles rather than a family project. Stay safe healthy and happy 👍
Your channel is relaxing and informative. Yes, I learned alot about the preload and back lash on the ISF and 14 bolt. Thank you Chad for your expertise. God bless and stay safe and healthy
I love to watch you and your boys working on stuff together they all take pride in their work keep up the good work I've been watching your videos for so long I feel like I know you all lol
Your videos are great and I love the relationship you have with your wife and sons. I just hope and pray that you guys don't succumb to the demolition derby stuff that everyone else seems to be getting into. 😃
Anyone would be proud to let you and your son's work on their vehicle's, knowing it will get fixed and fixed the wright way! Til next time take care, stay safe and we'll see you then...
Chad the secret to getting the piece out of the intake. Is an old plumbers trick. Use a hack saw blade to cut it in two or three places. Then you can use a chisel or screw driver to knock out the pieces. Use non hardening pipe dope to reseal it. Don't worry if you get into the threads. The pipe dope will seal it up. Use pipe dope for gas line. This will hold up to the coolant. God bless
nothing wrong with new stuff , but thank you guys for appreciating the old stuff. i hate going in shop and hearing mechanic bad mouth ,insultin , a customers ride if its got a bit of wear on it. if its got wheels and engine, i love it . cause remember if everyone was a mechanic , we fixers wouldnt have a job. 🤭😉
Your wifey not filming today. Is she ok? Thanks you sir for another education video. And the love of family. You are a superstar sir. I love the way you carry yourself. God Bless.
Stacie is good 😁 thank you for asking. She had a lot going on the week we did this Suburban. She did pop in and out but with things with the kids and all it was much less than normal.
If you ever get oven cleaner from Sam's Club. That stuff works a lot better than degreaser. Let soak for awhile. Just be careful when rinsing it off. Itll burn like caustic, a little. But it does wonders. Superclean.
I still enjoy the manual hub over the electric shift mechanism.... and we won't start on their idea about heater hose connectors... it worked before so lets fix it... errr.
My first vehicle was an 8th gen suburban. I of course teened it up with bass, underlighting, and a loudspeaker. Besides what I did to ruin it, it was a real nice truck
I have a 95 Tahoe I am in NY so I have the rust ,, also have a spare front housing now I won't be scared to tare it apart ,, oil leaks just keep the rust down lol ...had a truck 30 years ago add oil check the gas ,,it was a 20 year old truck when I got it ,, Another Great Video ,,
Very nice viedo showing "again" the detail you and your crew live up to. PS my mema from Texas had all sorts of sayings, I wish I would have written all of them down, classic one liners. Peace to all
When I had time , id have some hands that hadn't gotten many hours , to wash under those hodge trucks , especially the ends of the 1s I was fixing to work on . And as soon as 1 drove out , sweep and clean that area up when that piece of equipment was taken out . Hated brake or clutch dust , sometimes id have a hand to vacuum it up as soon as it fell
Thank you , videos are always well done. I too work from home (almond ranch mechanic) the commute is good ,working in a park like setting the only thing bad is as soon as I step out the door everywhere I look there is something to be built or repaired to the point where my house, hobby and health get neglected. Central California watching
Chad I really like watching you and your boys working together. You guys seem really tight knit, and you work well together. Your kids are a lot like you Chad as they think things out before and while they work, and I can tell your boys never use the fraze "Just good enough" , like you they do things right. I am very envious of you because neither of my sons had any interest in mechainics when they were young.
I wish you guys were in my area, I have a 1924 Model 20 Rolls Royce that was left to me in a will and it needs the radiator fixed, a brass fitting for the fuel line going into the carburetor (whitworth tread), wiring harness and new tires.
Lots of good information in this video- my 2nd generation LT1 powered S10 truck and my 1989 silverado thank you . Great Video - thanks for the tips you add in each video- watching from Mississippi
Chad, I have NEVER heard anyone call those clamps "worm clamps" before. Except me and the smartest man I ever met. GREAT to here someone call them by the correct name.
Each of you are amazing Why don’t you wear safety glass when you are working under vehicles, because particles are flowing in the air as it is above you and floating around.
Awesome video Chad!!! I actually am in the process of taking my front diff out and rebuilding it also!!!! I’ve never done a front axle in a independent front end but have done tons of solid axle rebuilds so it shouldn’t be to hard!!! It was nice seeing how you did it just to look for things that might occur!!!! Awesome video once again buddy and remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!!
I like the way you guys fix things as you find them. I know not everyone wants it included but I hate to find myself broke down for something simple. My new guy is great. My 1/2 ton Chevy won't go into low range and I can't get under it. lol
I've never seen anybody add cab clearance lights to a Suburban before. I found a local place that makes hard lines. I'm sold on using those over rubber hoses. Mint Suburban except for the body crease in the right rear.
The crease in the rear came from jack knife my toyhauler in the ice, that is the only place it hit the truck. I was just glad it did not get the window, now it is patina, not fixing it, a memory.
I wish i was closer to you because id have you go through my 2006 Chevy Silverado with 190,000 miles on Her. Still has orignal transmission fluid an filter and shifts fine to this day. It has the 4.3 V6 i did change out rearend fluid about a yr ago. I do all the other maintenance to Her oil, filter, plugs cap an rotor. Im sure She needs some things done to Her and you seem like a very Honest and Knowledgeable Person Love your Whole Crew and Enjoy your Videos. Thanks for teaching me alot ❤😊
The actuator on front axle 4wd, I'd have gone ahead and replaced it. Old tired ones tend to wanna stop working when it gets cold, esp if you are in deep snow.
You would think that Chevy would have come up with better ideas for the front end on the 4x4 and great job keep up the good work God bless from GA and stay safe
That is what happens when you jack knife your toy hauler in the ice, I was lucky it did not take out the window. Have an ex tended tongue on the trailer that is the only place it hit. Not gonna fix it, memories! 🤣
If you go to a place that is flat rate the people rush thru it and your quality goes out the window. Not all the time but more than often. By the hour you can put your heart into it without worrying about how many extra hours you will make..quality is what most want.
Sorry chad.seen some dealers cutting a wicked amount of coners..but I watched you guys working your hearts out to complete a job to perfection. Like you said it where you go.
A buddy of mines dad put electrical tape on a brake line that was leaking. Kept buying and adding brake fluid. No telling how many bottles of brake fluid he went through. My buddy finally bought the brake line and we put it on in the parkin lot at college one day when he had borrowed it. 20 bucks for the brake line and probably 20 minutes to get it done. We just laughed. Gave his dad a hard time for a while.
Thank you, Chad, Staci, and boys, for your hospitality while working on "Moby" my white Whale Suburban. Also for fixing my Tracker with its impromptu trans leak. You guys are awesome! Hope to see y'all this summer.
All mechanics should treat their customers this way.
Craig, Thank you for your business and support. It was great getting to know you and assisting with those things, it truly was a pleasure.
When you are honest with the customer, you never have to worry about clients. Bravo
Hi all from N Ireland, great watching you all on your different projects 😊
quite a crew all working together - and great to see the old iron still in use (I mean the suburban, not Chad of course) - fun to watch the upgrades. Thanks all
Chad's not old iron - iron can fail and let you down!
Stacy awesome editing on this episode. Your family are rockstars and professional in the trade.
Thank you!!
Your consciousness approach to each aspect of a job is profoundly admirable. Your sons have this same ethic which says a great deal about them as men and you as their father! Thank you.
Larry of Paragonah
It is a joy to watch professionals do their work! I like it that Chad and his boys always talk us through things. We learn a lot that way!
I’ve reached the point that you fellas can fix / replace / fabricate just about absolutely anything!!
The old Suburban got a lot of love ! Thanks for sharing . Great Video .
Nice to see Chad and the boys working together, 😊 I have been blessed to have worked with my dad on repair projects, as we both have gotten older it is much more enjoyable and memorable, I'm 62 ,dad is 86, men keep up the great work 🤗
What a combo, Tin Top Tracker and a 8 lug suburban ! 90's Finest pair.
You’ve given those young men a great life start ! 😍
Chad and sons are first rate technicians...great job.
It's a pleasure watching you and your family work together. The patience and respect you appear to have for one another is wonderful. Not the least of which is the mechanical expertise you have in making sure the job is done correctly and you take no short cuts. Great videos!!

always go the extra mile nice job
Love watching your stuff but I really enjoy the customer vehicle work. It does a great job teaching good mechanic work and proper troubleshooting techniques. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from north Texas
Love love love lifted built Suburban’s and Tahoe’s!!!!! ❤
Thanks for sharing your knowledge Chad and family! I will have to admit that I was a little surprised to see you guys sharing work on a customer's vehicles rather than a family project. Stay safe healthy and happy 👍
Mom& Dad you did good ! 👍🏻
Thanks Chad, even though I will never change another pinion. The tip about LEFT hand threads, is a great tip.
Another great informative, educational family working together video...thank you..🙏🌠🌠👨🌾🚜👨🌾
Chad I know you are proud of your sons. They all are in the asset column in my book.
Thank you! I am very proud and humbled by the fine men they have grown into.
Chad Carter’s School of Automotive Engineering 😂. Very educational. Thank you guys. 😊
Your channel is relaxing and informative. Yes, I learned alot about the preload and back lash on the ISF and 14 bolt. Thank you Chad for your expertise. God bless and stay safe and healthy
The tightening measurement is the best ....ugga dugga's 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I love to watch you and your boys working on stuff together they all take pride in their work keep up the good work I've been watching your videos for so long I feel like I know you all lol
Nice work guys, can't say I'm over impressed with the front diff arrangement, but I guess it works OK. Thanks guys.
It’s Soooo nice to see your sons hsve the same passion for working on cars! Smooth repair! 🤙😎
Just loads of fun,and miles of smiles.Always good lessons when we watch you guys work.TY.
Your videos are great and I love the relationship you have with your wife and sons. I just hope and pray that you guys don't succumb to the demolition derby stuff that everyone else seems to be getting into. 😃
I want to watch Chad and boys do a demolition derby project for next summer. Chad isn't salty but he's a competitor.
Anyone would be proud to let you and your son's work on their vehicle's, knowing it will get fixed and fixed the wright way! Til next time take care, stay safe and we'll see you then...
Chad and family. I really enjoyed this video. Excellent editing. You all are truly blessed. Thank you
I'm pretty sure an ugga dugga is a very precise unit of measurement, especially if you say click when you've finished.
Great job boy's. Lots of work.
Absolutely 💯 Great Content 👍Your Team is Very Talented and will definitely make it happen 👍
Have a Great Day 👍
God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸

Love watching, Chad. Great story line and excellent editing by your other half. 💕
Nice work guys. Fun to watch pros at work. .
I always loved the suburban MAV’s…..best way to travel on the planet.
Excellent music selection.

Great video! I always hand greased the bearings versus putting oil in the tubes on assembly.
Very nice viedo showing "again" the detail you and your crew live up to. PS my mema from Texas had all sorts of sayings, I wish I would have written all of them down, classic one liners. Peace to all
Forgot to mention my mema was 95yrs old, down south Texas, one liners/ sayings.
Another good one guys...your videos are getting addicting fast!
Looking forward to the next one...have a great weekend too.
Great job. And great how you explain how and why you do things!

Great Video, Realy enjoyed seeing a video of your day job, even though this was not a routine job, I can see why you choose to film it post it.
Chad Rocks!
Got a customers to vehicle to work on this week! Not a rock crawler!
I'm sure glad YOU remembered where all those pieces and parts went, Chad.
There were a couple of them I wasn't sure about. 😏😉👍

LOVE today's saying🥰
Nice Suburban, my 96 isn't as good shape for a Pennsylvania vehicle.
Great Video Chad Thanks!!👍👍
That's a lot of work just for a gear change, good work though. I was looking forward to the finish of Matt's wrecker.
Nothing like a southern gal! Yes, I watched and laughed!
Great video and great job with the truck and God bless from GA and stay safe and have a great day
You would think that Chevy would have come up with better ideas for the front end on the 4x4 and great job keep up the good work God bless from GA and stay safe
Another great video 👍
Another superb job!
I had a 01 with a 8.1L it was a animal pulled great, but not near a good as my L5p Duramax.
I live in Kentucky and thinking very seriously about seeing if you all would be interested in doing gears in my pickup
0:14 that's an interesting dent.

@@craigweikel8184 It does add character.
My Blazer had a bullet hole in the hood, so I have no room to talk.
Appears to be a few lines on the battery not fused.
You need to use brake cleaner on your housings to get rid of oil spills. As per Rainman Ray TH-cam.
Chad you should start a How to change this part guide.
Awesome video 👍one day I’ll be brave enough to set gears 😬Aloha from Hawaii 🤙🏽😎🌴
