I have been dying to see real swatches of the Flower Beauty palettes. They look so washed out online! They are so pretty! Expanding this line is so smart. It’s amazing!!!
When I saw those flower beauty palettes my immediate thought was, “let’s wait and see if Jen picks these up before I do” so happy to see your swatches and looks!
Video idea (please): "Ask Jen" where we ask you makeup-specific questions on TH-cam Community tab and Instagram and you read and answer them in the video. The questions would be like "If I love this formula and this color story, which product would you recommend?" With your vast makeup knowledge, I think you could answer many of these and maybe make it a quarterly or monthly video. I have questions like this, so I imagine many other subscribers/viewers do too!

It ended up looking really close to a perfect match on my face...it looked too light on my hand but my hand may be darker from sun exposure this summer. :)
I knew I could count on you to review the flower beauty palettes! I had the jungle lights palette but ended up giving it away because while I loved the colors and the formula of the shadows I found it very hard to use such dark pigmented shades in this special formula. I learned I prefer lighter more topper-ish colors in this metallic formula.
That foundation is... :: chef's kiss::. I started watching your channel because you have dry skin with pink undertones, so whenever you find a winning foundation I am SO THERE. 😅
I ordered from Sephora last night and I was tempted to get one of those Caliray stains but since no one had talked about them I decided not to, now I'm kicking my self 🤦🏻♀️ they look so pretty! ... Jen you look beautiful 😍 I hope you guys have an amazing weekend... hugzzz 💜🤗
Taken from the Kryolan website: "In relation to the color wheel, skin tones are all found within yellow-orange to red. Skin tones with a cool undertone tend to have a hue towards red-purple. Skin tones with a warm undertone have a hue towards yellow." Hope this helps someone as confused as I was lol.
@@JenPhelpsYep, there is no cool-toned peaches anywhere. A peachy pink is a warm-toned, salmony pink, which has an orangey tone. I have just started to look for foundations (other than my LE one) that would be good matches for my true cool undertone and so far the drugstore is zero out of many. Usually they don't even have shades that would nominally be good for me. I just sampled three high-end ones and most are not only too dark but soo yellow. Sigh. This one looked so good on you though! 😊
So pretty. I have to say. I’m 62 I have really sensitive eyes and I haven’t been able to wear shimmers. BUT THE NYX GLITTER GLUE SAVED MY EYES. YAAAAY I wear it all the time now. It actually looks like it oxidized a tad. I like how it looks. I was worried it would be drying
I had to add the Garden flower beauty palette to my cart when I was grabbing the Tarte maneater liquid blush on the day it was half off. I'm so glad they're the same formula as the previous two, they're truly amazing eyeshadows. Thank you for the look ideas, I cannot wait to get my palette!! 🥰
You’re one of the few on YT who didn’t like the Catrice foundation and had the same feeling as me. It made my skin look SO dry! So now I’ll have to try that REM foundation!
New "Lights" palettes?!? I am IN HEAVEN! Desert Lights is maybe my favorite one and done shadow palettes of all time. I'm going to buy them both RIGHT NOW. From this side of the camera, that color looks spot on for you! If I were to shade match you in a foundation I’d pull for a neutral shade as well, you may not be as cool toned as you perceive 😊

But they never tell you how much it actually costs. For a year supply, someone would spend over $700 on their tretinoin. You can see a cosmetic plastic surgeon or a dermatologist for a consultation and a prescription for tretinoin that would cost you far less than $700/year.
Hey Jen! While I love the look of the Flower Beauty new shadow palettes on you, they're a bit too sparkly for me. And it might be confusing to some if you don't explain the use of the NYX Glitter Glue as intended for shimmer shade areas only; I know you've mentioned it once or twice before in other videos, but if someone missed those and tries using the Glitter Glue as a general primer for all eyeshadows, it could cause some problems. I hope too that those shadows, and any others, apply just as beautifully with your own brushes from your collab with Doll 10! Those brushes have become my absolute "first grab" brushes in a very short time! Good to see you again - thanks for the video!

I have mentioned it a few times when I talk about it that you shouldn't use it for mattes but I didn't say it this time because I'm always worried that I'm repeating myself. This eye look is stunning on you. I really wanna get these two new pallets. I like the soft colors a lot more in these than the bolder colors in the first two.
I love the coastal scents one, that lavender color is pretty! I wish they had added maybe a blue or green flip, I’d like to see the brand try their hand at duochromes in this formula.

Literally just placed an Ulta order before clicking into TH-cam and I got one of the Milani nude oils. I really was attracted by the name of the honey fig one but it looked rather orangey-yellow on their website so I got the blackberry one instead. Hope you are healing well!

Hey thank you so much for trying the flower beauty palettes! I love the formula and here in India only the desert lights is available. I am planning on grabbing the jungle lights one and when i saw these I facepalmed!!! Two MORE to chase down?!? But thanks to your swatches, I think I'm going to skip these because i don't wear colourful eyeshadow so often and on my brown skin these would not be as flattering as the deeper jungle shades.

Jen, I’ve been looking into powder foundation, and I wondered if you prefer the Moira or Jane Iredale foundation for dry skin, particularly around the nose? Have you tried the ZuZu Luxe pressed mineral powder foundation? Would you ever do a video on powder foundation?
So far I think that the Moira has a little bit more coverage than the Jane Iredale, so it covers my redness on the nose a little bit better. I feel like I have to layer up the Jane Iredale one a little bit more but it does look extremely natural, which is nice. I haven't tried the ZuZu one yet but I'll definitely look into it!
I know you like to pick cooler foundations because you have so much rosey tones on your face, but your neck is a light yellow tone, so this foundation actually matches your neck perfectly and really did a great job canceling out the redness in the center of your face! Maybe the skintints seem to blend better in cooler undertones, but this foundation was perfect. I also loved seeing the Milani lip oils in both swatches and on your lips!
That foundation looks so pretty on you, I’m a dry skin gal, I need to try it. I also want to try that lip stain and lip oils. What sponge were you using, looks like it had a flat bottom, I like those kinds but they are hard to find. Thank you Jen. The shadows look lovely on you but Jen, I can't wear all shimmers. My 60 yr. old lids can't do them. The foundation is really nice on you, but looks a little patchy on and around your nose- I love the finish, tho. For more coverage I love the Ulta Complexion Crush. Have you tried it? It's soooo good. I'll be buying ALL those lip oils when they come to Amazon. I have the fruit fetish oil in the squeezee tube.

I agree! I tend to use the darker colors just for outer corner depth but always use the lighter shades on my lids. :)

Neutral = peach, yellow/golden = warm and red/pink = cool. FOR MAKEUP. I just learned this from an MUA. Olive is neutral/warm.

I try not to pick up too much because it does crumble a little if you do. Also the glitter glue helps!

Hey thank you so much for trying the flower beauty palettes! I love the formula and here in India only the desert lights is available. I am planning on grabbing the jungle lights one and when i saw these I facepalmed!!! Two MORE to chase down?!? But thanks to your swatches, I think I'm going to skip these because i don't wear colourful eyeshadow so often and on my brown skin these would not be as flattering as the deeper jungle shades.

Your finished look was so pretty🌸. That foundation! So pretty👍. Let us know how it works with powder blushes. Those Caliray blushes are so pretty. Also, the Milani lip oils are really nice.

I knew you would pick up the Flower Palette’s! I almost bought them when I saw them but they didn’t really have any pictures of the actual colors which was weird. You definitely came through, because if I was to blind but I would have got the lighter one, but after seeing your video I really should buy the darker one! Thank you Jen!! PS: Your eye looks were certainly NOT messy they were SO PRETTY 🩷

Jen, I’ve been looking into powder foundation, and I wondered if you prefer the Moira or Jane Iredale foundation for dry skin, particularly around the nose? Have you tried the ZuZu Luxe pressed mineral powder foundation? Would you ever do a video on powder foundation?
So far I think that the Moira has a little bit more coverage than the Jane Iredale, so it covers my redness on the nose a little bit better. I feel like I have to layer up the Jane Iredale one a little bit more but it does look extremely natural, which is nice. I haven't tried the ZuZu one yet but I'll definitely look into it!
I know you like to pick cooler foundations because you have so much rosey tones on your face, but your neck is a light yellow tone, so this foundation actually matches your neck perfectly and really did a great job canceling out the redness in the center of your face! Maybe the skintints seem to blend better in cooler undertones, but this foundation was perfect. I also loved seeing the Milani lip oils in both swatches and on your lips!
That foundation looks so pretty on you, I’m a dry skin gal, I need to try it. I also want to try that lip stain and lip oils. What sponge were you using, looks like it had a flat bottom, I like those kinds but they are hard to find. Thank you Jen. How is your head healing after your procedure, can’t tell you even had it done.🙏🏻🥰💖
It healed really well! I'm missing some hair toward the back of my part but you can't really see it on camera. :)

The shadows look lovely on you but Jen, I can't wear all shimmers. My 60 yr. old lids can't do them. The foundation is really nice on you, but looks a little patchy on and around your nose- I love the finish, tho. For more coverage I love the Ulta Complexion Crush. Have you tried it? It's soooo good. I'll be buying ALL those lip oils when they come to Amazon. I have the fruit fetish oil in the squeezee tube.
