Mosa Ballet School : From Bank to Art School

Created in the former regional headquarters of the National Bank of Belgium, the Mosa Ballet School comes to life in this emblematic building located on Place Saint-Paul in the centre of Liège (Belgium).
In total, more than 10,000 m² of infrastructure have been radically transformed into educational, cultural and sporting spaces in order to offer young dancers and teaching staff a living and working environment that makes them want to excel every day.
The philosophy of this transformation project proposes a subtle balance between the accompaniment of the existing building, the conservation and enhancement of its heritage, and the requirements of the new school.
In collaboration with the architectural studio dA Architectes, the transformation of this former bank building began in March 2021, after 22 months of studies, for almost 15 months of construction.
