I have my 2008 4 doors civic from 2 years and I love it, I've never enjoyed soo much to drive any of my cars so much. And this i-vtec engine it's just brilliant ❤❤❤
Get an intake and you'll hear the difference when vtec kicks in, it'll be loud, better than a B-series. Get a reflash tune, lowers the vtec engagement, car will pull harder. I agree the type R's all should be 2-door, new ones are the silly 4-door.
Yeah I built a short ram intake and the vtec really growls now! Got hondata flashpro and I've got vtec engaging at 3800 haha perhaps too soon.... exhaust and headers are getting installed this week!
there a very underrated car the only people that dont like them are people that have never driven one ! natural aspirated 2.0lt vtec engine that revs to over 8000rpm 0 to 60 time of around 6.5 seconds bulletproof engine great handling and one of the best gearboxes in the business ! ive had mine for almost 4 years its got a miltek exhaust hks air intake mugen body kit engine remap vtec at 4500rpm its putting out 230bhp and its a blast to drive ive come from a Porsche boxster s and a nissan 370z and my fn2 is just as much fun to drive but so much cheaper to own !!

I ended up getting Nvidia Q300 exhaust with cat delete and jdmyard headers (clone of toda racing) and built my own short ram air intake for now. Also just did IAAV delete to begin tidying the bay a bit.. 😁
@@CALITRIXfitness -- i have almost identical mods to you -( i also have Q300 and short ram intake with K&N filter) i spent $1000 dollars dyno tuning the car after buying a Hondata module for $1250 --however i had one regret , i didnt get the RRC first. reason you should think about it is that it will give you another 10BHP from 6800 to Redline ( which will be 8600rpm after dyno. the most worthwhile mod , because if you dont do it first you will have to re dyno the car when you do decide. this is my regret----i didnt get the RRC , but now i cant justify $1500 dollars to buy it and re dyno the car for 10HP. have a good think about it.i know it all adds up to alot of money up front - but you wont wanna revisit it again. RRC really helps keep the HP climbing linear right up top to redline where as now she will flatline at 6800rpm and fall by 8200rpm. ( and dont waste money on any other intake - not M2 not skunk2 pro not RBC)
Like it or not.. The K20 engines are the best 2.0L Normally Aspirated Stock Engines to ever be produced. They can handle 400bhp as stock with no engine mods and are super reliable as well.
I have a low milage minter with fsh and the LSD. Big standard and I got too sell it. I can. I longer drive it due too and injury. Its a shame as I love it and it's one of the best examples out there. I can see why people like them so much though
Oh man i'm sorry to hear that you've gotten hurt! i'm sure you'll find something comfortable to make life easier! They're definitely an enjoyable car though, consider an automatic turbo veloster if you can find one newer than 2017
oh wow... solar roof ...... obviously aftermarket but it looks good... Nice car man, I had mine for almost 7 years already and don´t get bored at all....... once an a while I try to change it for something different, then two days after I go for a quick route and blast around and totally forget about the swap option.
Thanks! It's my 7th honda but my first Type R, I've loved all of them equally! I had 3 1989 CRX's before this, really miss my last B swapped one. The sunroof on this was installed by honda at the request of the first owner before she drove it home from show room. I bought it off her 😁
I think if you keep it regularly serviced and keep the oil level up plus have valve clearances done periodically it should still be quite healthy at 250k!
I got a fn2 for 4 jears now and i still love the car👍🏻 i olso had 3 crx car i loved those cars. I see you have a sunroof on your fn2? That isn't stock right?
Well the previous owner had it installed by Honda when she first bought it. Its the same sunroof that comes in the same gen civic, not sure which edition had the sunroof but I saw one in a video and it looked identical from the inside
@@CALITRIXfitness nice nice mine is currently on 151000. also bro wondering if yours have these extras too. auto dimming rear mirror, rear park sensor, shorter shift, tyre deflate warning.

Well, 8th gen type r was a 4-door sedan, as the mugen rr.
@@josedusol you missed my point.
The sound when the valves open up 🤤🤤🤤
Always music to my ears!

That's a fantastic review and speaks volumes given the other cars you own! Thanks for sharing!
Add LSD, M2 motorsport catback and Meister R coilovers and you will love it even more. Oh and Vtec start point reduced of course!
Vtec is engaging at 3800 now after HFP purchase. More mods happening this week!
Fuck yeah man, I love my car more and more after 3 years! even more plans yet !
It's always a work in progress and never finished haha

I wonder how engine holds at 250.000km if proper serviced? There is one for sale all black with WTCC spoiler and 19" Keskin rims looks great.

What stereo did you get and where from? Can I get it in the Uk 🇬🇧 🙂
Beautiful car, beautiful sound! How much is the fuel consumption in normal driving
I think I'm doing about 9L per 100km so far.
@@CALITRIXfitnesswhen you reach 14l you'll feel k20 magic 😊
How many litres per 100km?
I think around 9-10. I hit VTec A LOT lol
I dont see any you can get 19 to 15 horsepower from a cold air intake. That is complete and utter marketing rubbish.
Does 2009 fn2 has LSD ?
From 2010 onwards it came with LSD. Mine is 2009 so no. I will be installing LSD a bit further in the future 😁
have 2009 fn2 as well 🙌 how kms yours?
