I inherited several stones from my sister-in-law Charlotte. While Char did lost wax casting, I am a wire wrapper! I was glad to see your tutorials for wrapping oval and round gemstones! Now I can also make a basket setting with prongs to wire wrap the 2 emerald cut gemstones! Thank You so very much for sharing your expertise in your videos 😊 💜💜💜
It’s a beautiful pendant, you’ve done a fantastic job. I’m sure your friend would be proud that you made it in his memory . Thank you Melissa x❤
I love it!... The wider the wrapping...the better...IMO....I will definitely give it a go. Thank you💋💋. ...you presented a simplicity I can honestly appreciate.
In other words, you've had some great mentors. We already guessed that 😅😂. I love, love this technique! 😍❤️😍❤️.
Gorgeous!
Love how honest, genuine and concise you are with your videos, awesome work as always.
Thanks and have a wonderful week!
I love watching your videos. They are so detailed and so insightful. Just watching you today. I learned so much. Thank you for sharing.
My birthday was the other day n my oldest daughter's is the 24th. Can't believe my baby is gonna be 26
It's gorgeous...I luv it!!
Wow! A stunning.. masterpiece right there! Awesome work Melissa!
- Bead weaver here in between projects. ❤
Great skill, I'm watching your channel learning! Especially the deep faceted stones trying to find away to make a deep faceted prong ring. Thanks for sharing your craft!!
I’ll be working on a ring soon! Stay tuned and thanks for watching! 💜☺️
A beautiful prong set silver topaz pendant. I'm glad you took breaks, I have to do the same thing because of a shoulder. Loved the show and can't wait for the next one.😷⛏
Beautiful, I will try this technique. You have also given me odeas to try. Thank you!
I’m upstairs in bed waking up and watching videos…you’ve just inspired me to go downstairs to my studio and attempt this. I’m going to use square Argentium wire on an oval Lemon Quartz. Hopefully mine will turn out half as nice as yours.
Beautiful dedication to your friend hun I love white Topaz and I love that you went with Stirling it looks very chic. This was one of those tutorials where everything was easy to follow, very clear Instructions, great to watch but then you see the end result and it’s got such a wow factor that your like “ok what just happened and how?” 😂 it’s amazing I’m sure he would have been proud 🥰🙏
I will try it.
beautiful
Thank you! Love this!
Hola guapa..es muy laborioso pero merece la pena esta preciosidad..gracias por mostrar tu trabajo un saludo desde España
I love your work. It's beautiful. I watch, take notes but there are still times I don't know what you're doing. For instance, at the end of the video you made the bail. I'm not sure what you snipped off. I saw you wrap a wire around the bail but the next time the video started the whole bail was done and all the wires gone. Where'd they go? Lol. Anyway, I enjoy your videos and I hope I can figure this out because I've got a huge cushion shaped topaz to wrap with a very deep backside. I'm trying to gain confidence and I love that you don't mind saying and showing your mistakes. You stay calm and don't sweat the small stuff and I hope I can embrace wire wrapping the same way you do. Thanks so much for your tutorials!
I was honestly struggling with those wires and just snipped them which was off camera.
It’s hard to film while struggling lol 😬
😍😍😍
I have a similar left hand thumb injury. Year and a half ago someone tried to grab something out of my hand and I stubbornly held on until I heard a POP and felt pain. The large joint had been pulled out of place, and the ligaments stretched and permanently damaged. I've tried various splints and wraps, but nothing was quite right. I still do things with my hands, but have to adjust. Do you have carpal tunnel or pulled ligaments?
I hear what you say about gold being softer than silver. I made a silver wire wrap solitaire CZ ring and I wear it all the time. It's very sturdy.
That sounds painful!
I have bone on bone arthritis in the CMC joint. I cant do much before I need to stop 😕
Then I just switch hobbies lol
You must have strong nails, wire ruins mine. How do you keep from marking your wire with your pliers?
My nails are trashed. I’ve been isotherm with glue on nails 😬
You get the feel of how much pressure to put on the wire with lots of practice ☺️
Thanks for watching!
I’m sure this design would be a lot easier with oval or tear drop shaped stones but of course I had to challenge myself lol!
Have a great week! 💜☺️
