I was sent a review code of NASCAR 21: Ignition on Monday. I streamed it immediately after it finished downloading it. This was my experience.

It's almost like when you rush building a foundation to instead of focusing in on fan-requested features will garentee a broken game. Maybe there was a decent reason many of those things weren't added in the Heat games.

Was actually pretty justified responses. The one thing I heard that really made me pause...." I don't wanna be the guy who they (MSG) look at next year and they are like wow he gave a really terrible review of our game and we gave it to him early.". Speaking in general......This should never be a mindset of any early copy content creator that intends on being genuine, sincere and trustworthy about game feedback. I believe you said it in jest but that is a hinge point for some that end up shilling, defending, being fake or just being in it for all the wrong reasons.
Yes, that Is exactly the mentality content creators did so many positive reviews for Cyberpunk to not upset CDPR, and to not upset blind fanboys who don't want to hear a single opinion different than the overhyped they already have.
Whoever said the cars look like a mobile game in your chat are a troll. Or they have something wrong with their eyes.

Turn steering assist to medium if your using controller because it balances out the car but if your on wheel you can have it off

These are the problems you get when you allow video game programmers to release games that are not finished. Oh don’t worry it’ll get better in the future. you can’t make promises and you can’t buy a product based on those promises for the future because there’s always a possibility that a game might get abandoned and you may never get that one update that makes it the best.

Bought the game today and very disappointed. I have been sim racing for the last 15 years and i cant believe how bad the physics are on this game. I cant believe the game got released in this state. I am so surprised how bad it is. The physics of the car is the most important thing in any racing game and this game reminds me of NASCAR 4 20 years ago
I've got this on series x. It flickers all the time. Even after reinstall. It's simply not playable for me. Oh well. Wasted 60$ again

It makes me so upset that there was so much potential with this game but they never fixed any of the issues. Instead of making a new game for 22, they updated 21 to add next gen cars and said Heat 5 would get next gen cars but they have yet to say anything about that since. For 23, NINTENDO SWITCH EXCLUSIVE?!? What a joke.
(2022 DLC and explaining the mod)
Oh boy, that Heat 5 “update” is the biggest scam of all time. A 2022 update didn’t get released until JUNE of 2023 and it was absolutely horrible. The damn thing is so broken it constantly crashes when trying to start up the game with the 22 roster but the 20 roster works perfectly fine, they haven’t updated the game since it was released. Speaking of release, I had the Gold Edition of the game, I’m supposed to get ALL DLC! I still had to pay $10 to get the DLC, couldn’t I actually sue for that? The Gold Edition advertises all DLC is free to download. When the “update” released everyone could immediately see how lazy Motorsports is, they just used the Nintendo Switch models, they look fine on the Switch but it looks like PlayStation 2 graphics on PC and consoles. None of the cars had alternate paint schemes to run which is absolutely blasphemous considering NASCAR games have always had multiple schemes for drivers since 2002 (technically 2001 because EA is weird with the titles). You couldn’t race in the lower series, Cup only. So, the 2022 schedule was almost entirely different from 2020’s schedule, they didn’t race on the Indy oval, Kentucky and Kansas were abandoned by NASCAR, in their place were the Indy F1 layout, COTA and Bristol dirt replaced one of Bristols dates. What does Motorsports do? Well, they actually added Bristol dirt to the schedule, the AI is trash on the dirt but hey at least they reused assets they already had in the game, since they’re reusing assets already in the game that should mean the Indy road course was added to the schedule as well, right? Dead fucking wrong. They removed every track that wasn’t raced in 2022 plus Indy. The career mode is only 33 races instead of 36. They completely ruined Atlanta, the majority of the AI are clueless of the new 5th gear while a few other drivers seem to be the only ones to receive the email from NASCAR and completely pulls away from the pack, Atlanta is unplayable so that means only 31 races on the schedule are playable, Bristol dirt is a complete joke as well so that’s only 30 of the 36 races are playable in career mode. Don’t worry about the problems as the DLC is actually worth the buy. The 2023 mod is absolutely worth it. They not only add in the 2023 roster, they fixed the schedule by replacing none used tracks with tracks like WWT and Mid-Ohio, Indy is back on the schedule and they moved around the races to reflect the 2023 schedule. They also touched up the 2022 roster which wasn’t the original pitch. Drivers now have their alternate schemes and the lower series got updated as well. The only issue I have with the mod is they were supposed to have a lot of legend drivers like Dale Earnhardt and Darrell Waltrip like what they had in the early access version of the mod, there’s still some legend drivers in the lower series such as Mark Martin in the 60 car and Mike Skinner in the Dale truck. It’s only a minor complaint but honestly the rest of the mod is so good you’ll forget about it pretty quickly. Downloading the mod is a bit intimidating, there’s a lot of files and they have to be put in the correct spots otherwise it won’t work but it’s not as hard as it looks. You’ll need an extension on your pc that allows extraction of zipped files, this is a must otherwise it won’t work. Download each file one at a time and look for the location with a matching name then move all the data outside of the downloaded file into the game data, it will not work if they’re still in the downloaded file. Like I said, the file names have matching names with the location it’s supposed to be in. It’s tedious but not hard and it’s worth it if you’re looking for an updated NASCAR experience.

Worse driving game I have ever seen. Actually having control is the most important thing in a driving game. Should be the thing they worked on first instead of the graphics and cut scenes.
Anyone notice how ever since content creators started uploading video of actual gameplay, Motorsport Games have been dead silent? Pathetic game, pathetic customer service, pathetic development team, pathetic everything. This game is like the Cyperpunk of the NASCAR gaming franchise. I’ll stick with Heat 5 and iRacing thank you very much.

They lied to us through their teeth about this game and its capabilities and had the AUDACITY to charge $90 for a champions edition of a completely broken game?! You’re insane if you’re gonna defend what that commenter said by saying “they put out a whole ass statement”. Where have you been dude? This games been picked apart for the past week by every youtube channel under the sun and rightfully so. Heres the most basic list of game breaking bugs. Cautions are all but non existent. Setups can not be chosen it defaults to stable. There is no rearview mirror, no fuel gauge, no tire wear indicator meaning no way to strategize your race and play the way intended. Wheel support is piss poor with lots of wheels lacking force feedback. No feedback on controller. Want me to keep going? Random black flags, random disqualifications, this game is a fucking broken joke dude. You dont watch Nascar, you said so yourself, meaning you have no idea whats truly wrong with this pile of shit. Try again.
