Ian...while watching the replay it became clear that the volume of your livestreams is absolutely too low. While I can crank it up to a reasonable level on my end, I'm being deafened by midroll ads. Literally swore and ripped my earbuds out.
I get deafend when he starts doing his 1h longs aaaaashhhhh and eeeeeeeeeem
That are sometimes double the volume.

The crossfire "hack" is not a hack. He just flashed ELRS firmware on Crossfire hardware. They use the same transceiver and MCU as was mentioned. You can theoretically flash TBS firmware on a clone device with the same pins.
A 555 timer isn't necessary. An R/C timer + latch circuit would be sufficient.

This would be the worst possible outcome for people that just purchased the Avata. The only thing that even matters to me is the ability to get a replacement through care refresh.
Thankfully, the Avata 2 is the only consumer DJI drone I have.

Imo dji is the beginning. They dominate 70% market and uk war has proven these are no longer toys. Usa is in tech war w china and I believe made in china smart products w proprietary Chinese chips will be next. Sure glad I sold my dji mavic last year. 😢

A multibillion-dollar company is going to take 100K or even a million to basically screw over all their customers? When those customers would probably still purchase things from DJI through other means? You must have not watched the video, and you are not thinking logically.
Even if, before they would even bother doing that, they would simply confiscate them.

54:46.. Ian... Compare the audio levels of your DJI Ban Video (Good Clear sound Level) to this Live Stream Video audio ( a bit Muffled and low volume) as I Commented on the live stream.. Not complaining... Just letting you know.😉
