You say to flick down with index finger for starters but then as you get faster you seem to abandon the index finder and use the middle and/or ring to begin.......

Both are correct, but to play Gabriella you have to start from the top.

I like your technique for triplets, but I am learning Libertango where triplets are mixed with duplets, what stroke would you use for duplets?
